Furnished with extreme care and equipped with every comfort, also with a library available to relax with a good book at the end of the day, it has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen with a delightful balcony. The first bedroom has a large double bed and a comfortable single bed. The second bedroom has 2 large single beds. Each room has its own private bathroom, air conditioning, LCD TV and free INTERNET Wi-Fi. The kitchen with every comfort has a table for 5 people and a delightful balcony overlooking a characteristic glimpse of Rome. The host wanted to wait until we got to town to give us check-in instructions, I am glad my phone worked otherwise we had no idea on how to check in. During the stay, one of the toilets would only flush one time and then it was done for a day or so. She said it would get fixed and it never did. We booked a 2 bathroom so we were disappointed it didn't work. My wife runs 2 properties as well and we would have done whatever it took to get a toilet fixed asap. My family and I stayed in Rome for 4 nights, and we loved this apartment. It's location on a quiet street in Trastavere was ideal for exploring Rome. We could walk to Castel Sant' Angelo in 10 min, Vatican City or Campo di Fiore in 15 min, and all of the great restaurants of Trastavere in 10 min. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and Roberta was accommodating. She set up a ride to the airport on our last day, and it saved us the hassle and stress of finding our way out there. We spent 2 weeks at this location and did not want to leave. Roberta is the best host you will find on HomeAway. She assisted with everything before the stay including transportation from the airport upon arrival. During the stay she checked in via mobile text to ensure everything was ok and provide local recommendations as needed. The apartment is the perfect size for a family of 5 and has all the amenities to feel like home. If you are going to Rome, book this location immediately. We (a couple of 60+) stayed for 9 very enjoyable days. The flat is modern, well equipped and very clean. Its location near the heart of Trastevere is perfect, just a few minutes walk away from the Vatican, just across the river to the old historic centre and also close to various bus lines. But it is in a quiet street and you do not hear noises except for the sea-gulls. Roberta is a very kind and helpful host who stayed in contact before our arrival, cared about our well-being and gave us very useful tips for our visit. She was more than accommodating as a hostess! The apartment was in a perfect location within a safe neighborhood. You will walk a lot if you plan on doing all of the sightseeing like we did--7 miles one day, another 10 the next day! Roberta arranged for our airport pickup, and the taxi trip to the train station on our departure day. She had maps available for our use to get around Rome.
