The staff members were fantastic--really helpful and pleasant to work with. The location is great as well: short walks to Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, etc. We easily walked to Vatican City from there as well. There is also a bus stop right outside the front door of the hotel, which is a plus and minus. Often the crowds of people at the bus station make it difficult getting in and out of the hotel. More importantly, if you end up with a street side room as we did, the noise of the busy street is loud and unending (compunded by the bus stop and people waiting for the bus) despite the added shutters on the room windows. Earplugs helped but were not enough.
The room, aside from the street noise, was nice. It had high ceilings, the en suite was spacious and the bed comfortable. The hallway carpets are in need of replacement as they are heavily stained and the lobby seating is in need of updated upholstery or replacement.
Would I stay here again? No, I would look for hotel off the main road or ensure I did not have a street facing room.
