It consists of a living area furnished with a comfortable sofa bed for two people, a small armchair, a 32 inch plasma TV, and a central table that can comfortably accommodate 4 people. The kitchen, separate from the living area, is furnished with an equipped wall, complete with all kinds of kitchen utensils, a gas oven, a microwave oven, top gas, fridge, freezer. The Living area also consists of a comfortable terrace, to relax after a day spent around the city. The sleeping area, which can be accessed directly from the living area, is furnished with a double bed and a walk-in closet. Also from the Living area you can access the bathroom with a modern and minimalist style equipped with bathroom fixtures, a sink and a large shower with a central shower head. All rooms are equipped with independent air conditioning and WI-FI. The stay in the "Design flat" will be the most comfortable way to spend a relaxing holiday in the most beautiful city in the world, Rome. Guests will have access to the entire house and to everything that composes it. Me and my team composed of CATERINA we are at your disposal during your stay for every need. The apartment is located on the border between Rione Monti and Celio. The Rione Monti, considered a small town within the metropolis is composed of narrow streets, with artisan shops, small shops, taverns, bars and various places, whose center gravitates on the square of the Madonna dei Monti, near the church of the same name, which still serves as a center of aggregation. For lovers of nightlife there is no shortage of entertainment, the district Monti is known in fact, even for the rich proposal of places to eat and have fun or just drink something along the streets. Near the apartment there are numerous monuments of the Eternal City, almost all within walking distance. In addition to the Colosseum, the Domus Area and the area of ​​the Fori Imperiali, you can easily walk to the great Basilica of San Giovanni and also Santa Maria Maggiore, two of the most important of the four papal basilicas of Rome. In the extreme vicinity of the apartment you can visit the Basilica of San Clemente, one of the many jewels of the art of Rome, as well as the Basilica of San Martino ai Monti, San Pietro in Vincoli (which houses the "Moses" of Michelangelo), L 'accommodation is easily reachable by public transport thanks to the proximity to the two metro stations of: Colosseo (metroB 400 meters walk) and to San Giovanni Station (metroA- 300 meters walk). Also the proximity to Termini Station, main railway junction inside the city, it is easily reachable also from the International Airport of Fiumicino, every half an hour there are train connections through the Leonardo Express that connect the Fiumicino airport with the Termini railway station, in just 30 minutes. For those coming from Ciampino airport there are the connections from Ciampino to Termini Station with the Terravision bus company and Bus Shuttle. Jan 5, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness Disliked: Communication, location #### FRAUD & Completely Unprofessional We always book our overseas travel through VRBO and have always had great experiences. Nothing about this stay was positive. Firstly, the listing does not indicate further requirements prior to stay; however, we were required to do an additional registration outside the VRBO platform to guarantee our pre-paid non-refundable stay. Within one day of pre-registering (forced because they already had our money), we received a message on WhatsApp indicating that the payment hadn’t gone through and requested my banking details. I contacted VRBO and the host. VRBO indicated that no additional registration was required and that if payment went through on my end then it was valid. The next day, the host confirmed payment & indicated to ignore the message. Then I received an email notifying me of a data breach and fraud. Luckily I didn’t provide my details though the message initially seemed valid since it included ALL MY SPECIFIC reservation information and details. Therefore someone at host site was likely the culprit of the fraud. Long story short, at check in the heating was inoperable and there was no hot water. Then there were issues with the toilet continuously flushing toilet and missing amenities. We tried to work through the issues but again and then again half measures were done which didn’t resolve the issues. After again attempting to contact the host the next morning we contacted VRBO and they were unable to contact the host. We vacated the unit at that point. ##### Amy P. Stayed 2 nights in Dec 2024
