À proximité du métro et de lignes de bus importantes, situé idéalement pour les visites ainsi que pour l’imprégnation dans la vie romaine. Superette, commerces et plusieurs restos sympa à proximité ». Voilà en résumé les appréciations par nos vacanciers, toutes entièrement positives. L'appartement est situé dans le quartier central ‘Appio-Latino’, quartier authentique, bien situé. Il est près du centre historique (3 arrêts de métro). Par le “Metro A” (la gare est située à 2-3 minutes à pieds), vous arriverez très rapidement à tous les lieux d'intérêt touristique (Colisée, Vatican, Saint Jean de Latran, Fontaine de Trevi, Villa Borghèse, Piazza di Spagna, Piazza del Popolo, Circo Massimo, Terme di Caracalla...). Le célèbre parc archéologique de 'Appia Antica', avec ses catacombes et le vestiges de l'ancien Rome, est situé à une courte distance de marche. L’APPARTEMENT, 65 mètres carrés, 2 balcons, peut accueillir jusqu’à 5 personnes. Nous y étions au mois de février en basse saison touristique. L’hôte est a la fois accueillant, disponible et discret. L’appartement en plus d’être bien situé à proximité immédiate des transports en commun, est bien équipé. Depuis ce lieu il est simple de se rendre dans les quartiers touristiques de Rome ainsi qu’aux gares routières ou ferroviaires. De plus l’appartement est à côté du parc de Caffarella où des promenades à pied, en vélo sont possibles, agréable bouffée de nature contrastant avec le milieu urbain. Le quartier est résidentiel, animé mais la circulation reste limitée sous les fenêtres des chambres. L’hôte tient à disposition des guides, cartes et est prodigue en conseils très pratiques. L’appartement est bien entretenu et propre. Nous avons passé 10 jours, dans le logement de Fernando situé "Colli Albani" au pied du parc appia antica. Notre hôte maîtrise parfaitement le français et l'anglais. Il est très réactif aux messages et fait tout pour optimiser notre arrivée dans les meilleures conditions. A notre arrivée, nous avons eu la chance d'avoir voir les précieux conseils de notre hôte (situation, metro, restauration, magasins, visite de Rome) et de son fils qui avait pris le relais. Le quartier est calme, très bien situé pour visiter rome . Il est aussi tres vivant ( restaurants, glacier, superette, nombreux commerces). L'immeuble n'est pas tout jeune (manque un peu d'isolation) mais comme l'appartement bien entretenu, sécurisé, tout le nécessaire et disponible. Nous recommandons cette location et leur hôte. Die Schlüsselübergabe hat sehr gut geklappt und Fernandos Tipps waren super. Die von ihm empfohlenen Restaurants waren alle hervorragend. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr gut ausgestattet, bietet reichlich Platz und war sehr sauber! In unmittelbarer Umgebung befinden sich Bäckereien, Cafés und Supermärkte, falls man sich selbst verpflegen möchte. Mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (wir haben auch öfter mal den Bus genommen), ist man schnell im Zentrum der Stadt und kann alle bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten leicht erreichen. Alles in allem eine klare Empfehlung und wenn es die Zeit zulässt, kommen wir gerne wieder. ##### Anja v. Owner was very friendly and helpful- he son met us for check-in and he was also lovely. Elevator was handy for getting bags up and down 3 floors but mostly we took stairs as it was a very cozy space inside elevator. Location was great. We used metro and found it easy to get around. We took taxi from airport (FCO) - get white one as regulated. Cost 55 tip and train to Termini station was going to be about 15 each so felt it made sense. We really didn’t spend much time in apartment as so much to do and sites located elsewhere so didn’t suit us to come back to apartment and go out for most part. One night we did go out to dinner locally to Grazia& Graziella and it was fantastic (right out entrance gate). Locals spot and very friendly. Only issue was shower but we didn’t let it slow us down and I doubt plumbing anywhere in Rome is great! . Overall a very positive experience and great value. ##### Patricia M. A very warm welcome from Fernando and as it was our first visit to Rome he gave us lots of information about the area, travel tips and the overall handover was very thorough and thoughtful. Good selection of supermarkets and shops nearby and a really lovely cafe downstairs. Bus at the end of the road which takes you to all the main sightseeing areas and is much easier and nicer than taking the metro (which is also a short walk away for those who prefer something a little quicker). Good location with easy transport links to all the centre and major areas of Rome. Being outside the centre it's a lovely place to come back to after the hustle and bustle in the city. The apartment has everything you need for a home-from-home stay and there are good shops and restaurants nearby. Morning coffee and croissant at the cafe on the corner is a must. Fernando gave us a great introduction to the apartment and the area - he gave us a very useful guide to the Metro that really helped orientate us. One thing - the shower is a bit idiosyncratic. You sometimes have to run the kitchen tap to get the hot water to pull through, and we found using the handheld attachment was best. But once we'd mastered it, it was ok and didn't diminish our stay in any way. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos, but they wouldn't add anything because the photos on the listing are true to the apartment. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Rome. ##### Marie P. My daughter and I do an annual mother/daughter vacation and we were 100% satisfied with this pick! Fernando was fabulous! He was communicative, met us at the apartment and helped us with our luggage, gave us a full tour of the apartment, he provided helpful information about the metro and the bus, gave us excellent recommendations for places to eat, also provided a Great Wall map of Rome. This apartment has absolutely everything we needed! We shopped for groceries in the neighborhood, cooked meals and ate out on the cute little terrace! There aren’t enough words to truly express how lovely this apartment is, how charming the neighborhood is and how easy it is to get around on the metro or bus.
