Close to the metro (Line A) and major bus lines, ideally situated for visits and for the impregnation in Roman life. Supermarket, shops and several nice restaurants nearby”. These, in summary, the testimonials from our guests, all entirely positive. ‘CAFFARELLA Apartment’ is located in the central district ‘Appio Latino’, near Rome’s historical center (3 stops by underground train). The metro station is only a short distance away (2 minutes on foot). Already starting from a central location all the historic center is at hand. You can easily reach the Basilica of St. John Lateran (4 stops), Viale Manzoni (Coliseum area, 5 stops) and then Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore (Esquilino), Termini Station, Via Nazionale, Via Cavour, Via Veneto, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo (Villa Borghese), Via del Corso, Piazza San Pietro, the Vatican Museums. The famous 'Appia Antica Archaeological Park' is within walking distance from the apartment. The Appia Antica park, major tourist destination, is very visited because of the presence of the Catacombs and the many archaeological finds, including the mausoleums of Cecilia Metella and the original road paving of Ancient Rome. 'CAFFARELLA Apartment’ is very cozy with every comfort catered for. In its 65 square meters it can sleep up to 5 people. There is an entrance hall, a kitchen, a large bedroom, a large living room, a bathroom with shower, a balcony overlooking the Appia Antica Park and a balcony overlooking the courtyard. In the bedroom, as well as the double bed, there is a third single sofa-bed. In the living room there is a sofa ( becomes a double bed). The apartment is very well cared for in terms of furnishings and cleanliness which we consider very important. Electrical appliances include: oven, washing machine, hair dryer , Wi-Fi, TV. Air conditioning (in the bedroom and in the living room). Parquet floor. Our neighborhood (Appio-Latino) is full of supermarkets. You will find all kinds of shops (bakeries, delicatessens, fishmongers, butchers, butchery, fruit shops, wine bars, rotisseries, ice cream parlors, bakeries, etc ..). Appio Latino district is full of restaurants, excellent trattorias and pizzerias. We will be glad to show you the best places. Bus at the end of the road which takes you to all the main sightseeing areas and is much easier and nicer than taking the metro (which is also a short walk away for those who prefer something a little quicker). We are a family of 5 and we stayed comfortably in this quaint and fully equipped apartment. It has everything you need while visiting Rome. Truly a home away from home! Our host Fernando was so kind and helpful, especially when my luggage was lost! He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and gave a wealth of knowledge about the area. There is an amazing coffee shop right next to the apartment and stores and restaurants all around. The bus stop is a few steps away, that leads straight to the city and the metro stop is only a few blocks away. This place was simply perfect for our family! Enjoy! ##### Sarah P. Large and spacious and great for 3 adults. Owner was very friendly and helpful- he son met us for check-in and he was also lovely. Elevator was handy for getting bags up and down 3 floors but mostly we took stairs as it was a very cozy space inside elevator. Location was great. We used metro and found it easy to get around. We took taxi from airport (FCO) - get white one as regulated. Cost 55 tip and train to Termini station was going to be about 15 each so felt it made sense. We really didn’t spend much time in apartment as so much to do and sites located elsewhere so didn’t suit us to come back to apartment and go out for most part. One night we did go out to dinner locally to Grazia& Graziella and it was fantastic (right out entrance gate). Locals spot and very friendly. Only issue was shower but we didn’t let it slow us down and I doubt plumbing anywhere in Rome is great! . Overall a very positive experience and great value. ##### Patricia M. Communication with the owner was prompt and helpful, we were met at the property and given all the information we needed. It was clean and spacious with everything we needed. Just a few minutes walk to the metro and only 7 stops to Termini. Buses also nearby. Access to Caffarella Park which leads through to the Appia Antica is 2 minutes walk away. It is a beautiful rural park with interesting archaeology and sheep. The neighbourhood is safe and all the shops and eating places you could need are close. Very clean and secure apartment in nice neighborhood and right next to the Appian Way park. Hiking distance to the catacombs and the original Roman road if you enjoy a good hike. Also just three blocks from the Metro for access to all of Rome! Bus stops right outside if you’re out late and the Metro train has stopped service for the evening. Great cafe right below the balcony for a quick coffee and sandwiches to start your day. Excellent pizza right around the corner as well as small markets for cooking your own meals. Fernando answered all my questions and offered advice on places to see and things to do. He was very helpful and friendly and made the entire check-in process easy and relaxed. The apartment itself is lovely and bright and cleaned to a very high standard. The bed and sofa bed were extremely comfortable - even for my friend's 85 year old mother! My friend and I stayed here coming to visit from America. It was our first time in Italy so we did not know much about transportation, food spots, etc. Fernando greeted us upon arrival and was very helpful and accommodating. He gave us great recommendations for food spots and let us know about the metro lines and buses (which was greatly appreciated since we had no experience using these systems). The apartment is located in a cute neighborhood area just outside of Rome with easy and close transportation to the city. There are multiple cafes and restaurants that are walking distance from the apartment as well. The apartment itself was well-sized and had some amenities that were very convenient for us while traveling. Our stay in Italy was amazing and Fernando added to it with his generosity and hospitality. Would absolutely recommend staying here! ##### Josselyn S.
