It offers its guests the maximum comfort in the Eternal City. It is the ideal accommodation for those wishing to indulge in the charm of Ancient Popular Rome, the area actually, still dominated by beautiful cobbled streets, hidden squares, historic buildings, restaurants, cafés, craft shops and small boutiques. The neighborhood is full of life, day and night and this makes Trastevere the ideal destination for those who are seeking the true soul of the city, in addition to the monuments. Actually, Trastevere is still one of the most loved areas of the city by the Romans as well as tourists who are visiting the Eternal City. The apartment has been recently refurbished and consists of two beautiful, spacious and bright double bedrooms with an extra bed on request, anteroom with a sofa bed, a nice living room with sofa, a TV and extendable table, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathrooms with shower. The apartment is equipped with all comforts including air conditioning, heating, internet wifi, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, oven and microwave, kettle, espresso coffee maker, fridge with freezer, iron and ironing board, bed linen and towels. The apartment is very quiet due to the soundproof windows and due to the fact that it is located on the third floor (with elevator) of a typical old building. Location is actually perfect on what you might call the edge of the neighborhood - but makes it perfect and convenient to get in and out.It is on the “busier side” of Trastevere - so everything literally starts right outside your door. The location was perfect - walked to all sites, 20-30 minute walk! Wonderful neighborhood, lots of night life, great restaurants right outside the door! It is typical of the area with high ceilings and lots of stairs. Beds are comfortable and clean, bathroom is clean with plenty of hot water. Location is in the Trastevere district which has an amazing selection of cafes, bakeries, gelaterias, bars and restaurants. There is an open air food market with the most amazing fresh food (visited in September). Be aware that there is a lot of colorful graffiti in the area but unlike the US, it doesn’t portend gang/criminal activity. Walked the area at night without concerns for safety. We love walking, so the location was incredible - Trastevere is a great spot to explore and eat of course - but it's also a super jumping-off spot to explore the 'main' parts of the city. We got a cab from the airport, and a cab to the train station, but other than that, walked everywhere, and I'm sure there are other neighbourhoods/apartments you could do this from, we felt lucky to have chosen here. The apartment itself is quiet, despite the activity out on the street. It's got several rooms - great for spreading out - but a little harder to hang out all together - but that's why we went out exploring. A balcony would have been cool but we didn't really miss it or want to hang in the room much. So happy we chose Trestavere neighborhood and lucked into finding this apartment. I think if you require absolute silence, then other spots might suit better, but we would not have picked anywhere different and I can only hope to return there again. ##### Jason N. The pull out sofa bed would not have worked well for us for many days, but it worked fine for our short stay. The apartment would be fine for two couples or a family with younger kids. Check in and check out and general communication with our hosts was excellent. A/C is provided by three heat pumps but electric capacity allows for only two running at the same time. Temps in the 80’s were manageable but if they were higher that might be an issue. Can’t beat the location. We’ve stayed in Travestere before and love it for all the food, small shops, and night life. It is lively outside, but the windows do keep most of the noise out. If you are very sensitive to noise, you may want to bring some earplugs. The apartment was well appointed. The coffee maker is a moka pot. If you are not familiar with how to use one, you may want to look it up before arrival. (We have had one for many years, so we were very familiar with how to use it.) Some coffee was kindly provided in the kitchen along with sugar. There is also an electric water kettle and a stove top version if you prefer tea. There are many restaurants, bars, and cafés nearby, including some right outside the apartment building. The elevator is small but comes in handy if you can't walk up the stairs. The apartment managers were very nice and easy to work with. We even took them up on the offer to arrange for a van to bring us to and from the airport. We thought the price was reasonable and the service was excellent. We highly recommend this apartment and would book again when we are in Rome. ##### Maria S. My friends and I ate at several great restaurants just a stone's throw away (one amazing one literally outside the door). Small grocery stores with local food and drink are abundant in the area. The apartment was close to many sights by foot and a major bus stop as well. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The three of us centered ourselves around a large dining room table next to the kitchen but easily could have set up nice seating area around the tv, had we spent more time in the apartment. Because of the constant activity outside and unseasonably warm weather (a good thing) during our stay, it was a bit noisy at night with the windows open, but we adapted. The communication was excellent and straightforward during our stay. We were here mid week and we had heard the area can be noisy because it is so vibrant. We had the windows closed and AC on and heard no noise. The location is amazing. 15-20 min walk to the Vatican. There is a taxi station right around the corner so we could get anywhere quickly. We were glad that we took a taxi from Termini Station as it was only 12 euros rather than taking a train/tram/ and then walking. Our host was super helpful. She organized a car service to Positano which at 500 euros was very reasonable versus what I could find and it was in a Mercedes van that fit all 5 of us comfortably along with our luggage. The restaurant right outside the door was amazing both for food, but more importantly, for the friendliness of the staff. We ate elsewhere in Trastevere and found nowhere with a better combination of food, service and price. Having the luggage service right next door is also a great perk.
