Thank you so much for the time spent to make the review Jessica, really appreciated.Despite off the fact we have never received a review so poor, we thank you anyway and we take few minutes to report and underline little details, in order not to create any misunderstanding.Even if the room can easily welcome up to 3 pax (it's 21 square meters plus a large bathroom with Jacuzzi Tub), the reservation has been made for 2 person, not 3. We are always more than happy to meet the guest's desire and adjust the error, but a little difference (extremely little, honestly) for a person added it's more than reasonable (and it's pretty standard wherever in the world's hotellerie) :) Breakfast is not served in our Guesthouse, it's not available and the Guessts are not paying for it :)The little welcome basket you found is not a "breakfast", but just a little welcome gift for all our Guests (generally extremely appreciated, not in your case evidently).It's just to share that you paid what you have to, and didn't pay what you didn't, having something for free ;)It should be a plus, not a minusWe are here everyday, between 8am and 3pm: difficult to see our Guests if they leave ealier, but we are always at disposal by phone, 24 to 7, for suggestions, emergenzy or simple help.For all the rest, we apologize if your experience has not been excellent like the other thousands we have had (inclused the not being hospitable of our staff, first time in 16 years we hear something like that), and we invite you to give to us another chance: we will be more attentive and cuddling ;)Hugs from Rome,Marco

These are the occasions in which we can, ultimately, tell something more about our structures and our way of providing hospitality.We are really happy that you would have given our B&B a 4/5: honestly, it's not a 5/5 like practically all the other reviews, but you can't really please everyone all the time, and that's a fact :)What we find funny, don't worry, are the two reasons that led you to transform full satisfaction into a poor opinion, the first we have received in 15 years of hospitality.The first, we cannot understand, but it is certainly our fault: the SUPERIOR room is equipped with 1 Queen bed and a regular single bed (according to European standards, width 90cm - ours is 94, and length 190cm), and when the booking requires 2 Single Beds, we are happy - both us and the guests - to be able to use both beds so that one of the guests sleeps in a Single bed, and the other - very comfortably - in a Double bed. It is usually considered a plus, not a minus. The forgetfulness of one of our cleaning girls, who did not immediately prepare the single bed, seemed to me to have been fully resolved when my brother Massimiliano - one of the owners - after receiving various phone calls and messages, personally rushed to prepare the single bed. missing. We also received written thanks from Gary, one of the guests, so it's quite impressive to read a comment like this after almost a month. Meanwhile I'm writing this full of passion reply, I'm reading his message in which, at 6:29 PM of the 14th of October, he sent me a message to thank us for "resolving the issue": I still remember that I personally said thanks to my brother, who was at home with her daughters, and ran away to the B&B. Loving him for his sense of responsability ;)The second reason, however, I believe is definitely a misunderstanding: it can happen that you make a reservation and forget what you have booked and what you are paying for, but we believe it would be advisable - before judging a service to be pathetic - to at least make sure that that service is be bought.Your booking did not include breakfast :) and what you found was - and is for all our guests who choose a reduced rate without breakfast - an elegant gesture, a pampering that we offer free of charge to ensure that your awakening is still pleasant and hot, together with the use - always free - of the espresso, tea and American coffee machines with which all BBSUITES rooms are equipped.You were right to cross the street and have breakfast at Giuffrè: they are our partners, and it is from them that we get all the fresh products to make up our breakfasts. Dear Christopher,thank you so for the time spent to leave a review!We are so glad you have enjoyed so much our services, the cleaness of Your room and and the loving and professional care of Giselle, a trait that distinguishes the management of guests for us at BBSUITES.However, we would like to specify some things, in order to make it clearer and not to have misunderstandings with you and future guests.Suites Trastevere is a B&B and not a Hotel: this, in addition to being clear from the name, is also very clearly specified on all the web pages from which you book. By definition, a B&B never has a 24-hour reception, and it is not written anywhere that the host is always present at the reception (by law, this is just not possible).When booking a B&B, it is in the guest's interest to let the host know the time of arrival at the structure, and this did not happen.We have tried many times to get in touch with you, in every possible way, and we have never received any response.We have an automated check-in system that has been working perfectly for 12 years: automatically, when you book, various emails arrive to the guest with all the useful information for your stay and with simple and clear instructions to enter by yourself after a certain time .All our guests receive the email, read it, and following the simple instructions, enter the room without problems.The email was sent to you too, we have proof of it, and it was also sent to the guests you met (with whom then, the next day, we laughed at the fact that they hadn't read anything).All this to say that it may be that a guest does not read emails while traveling, but that hearing about disorganization and abandonment seems really out of place.We are 4 to manage 2 reception facilities, we are present from 8 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon, every day, 365 days a year. We send emails, send instructions, call guests, contact them via whatsapp or via message, and if necessary, we return to the structure to physically welcome them at any time.However, allow us a little joke: how can you travel by booking a B&B thinking that it is a Hotel, that you never get in touch with the Host, that you don't answer phone calls, you don't read the messages and you don't read the mail, and that after all this you feel abandoned and disorganized?With love, and with the hope of seeing you again soon here with us.A hug from RomeMarco, Max, Helena & Giselle
