Barnacle the BBQ requires a lighter assist which is provided for you. She's old. But she's a trusty steed. Bundles of wood can be purchased for $12 for the outdoor firepit. No wood from off site to prevent the spread of tree diseases/fungus and beetles. Extra bundles may be purchased from caretaker host. Text concierge service available during 10am and 7pm. Absolutely NO SMOKING of any kind inside cabin; outdoors only. An additional Cleaning fee will apply if smoking rule is broken to respect other guests. Please be aware this is farm country, there will be tractors, farmers may be tending their fields, there is wildlife. Its gorgeous, though at times we cannot predict there may be a little noise. A highlight was definitely the sheep grazing nearby—they added such a charming, pastoral vibe to the whole experience. It is a comfortable, cozy, and quiet space. It was a refreshing experience to be able to switch off for a while. The hosts are thoughtful, and offered a unique opportunity to tour and experience their sustainable farm, including bottle feeding a newborn lamb even holding a chicken :) I would recommend this space for anyone looking to relax and reset for a while in rustic comfort. ##### JONATHAN L.
