"This is a property that is far above and beyond a regular hotel. "This is not a 5 star hotel. Expidea advertised AC in the rooms. They tuned it off because the season is over. When the sun beats on the window its 85 degrees. Now way to cool the room. Advertise they no AC in the off season. Would not have stayed. The beach bar is closed. So is the restaurant. We ate at Romeo and Juliet the first night. No one was there. Empty and the server looked irritated we walked in. After ordering and being served a salad, he left. Went home. Told the bar tender his wife...

"The property itself is super nice, clean. And the staff is awesome. BUT there is an oil refinery nearby, and when the wind blows from the refinery you can taste the oil in your mouth. We were lucky the wind changed direction and it only lasted for one day. "
