We've had it professionally decorated with high end finishing throughout. It's fully loaded with everything you might need and want from preparing a Thanksgiving meal to enjoying a day on the beach. All new floors, lighting, paint, a complete kitchen makeover including stainless appliances, top of the line kitchen wares, a coffee bar, as well as all new furniture throughout the house and smart TV's in every room! We've got decks on every floor for multiple hangout areas to enjoy panoramic water views from the ocean to the sound side of the island. The elevator is a big hit, especially for elderly parents and for easily bringing up groceries, luggage, and all your gear. The elevator goes from the ground floor, with easy access for wheel chairs, and accesses each floor inside all the way to the top level. You are directly on the beach with unobstructed wide open ocean views and just a few houses north of the Rodanthe Pier. Enjoy our heated pool in the spring and fall, available April1-early June and Sept-Oct 31\. We supply: • Linens & Towels: all Premium luxury bedding & sheets, plush bath towels, and plenty of cabana pool towels. • Bathroom essentials: toilet paper, spa packs for shampoos, conditioners, body washes, bath soaps, hand soaps, hair dryers. • Kitchen essentials: salt, pepper, spices, dish soap, dishwasher pods, hand soaps, paper towels, garbage bags • Laundry essentials: laundry detergent, dryer sheets, • Children gear: High chair, pack n play, kid's boost chair, outlet covers • Beach + Pool towels: Turkish beach towels, blue striped pool towels. Beach Access: Direct access straight from the ground level of our house. No long hikes to the beach either, you're directly on it! Amenities: • Private Pool: Heating available Spring & Fall. Relax poolside in our recliner chairs, grab a beverage, forget your worries, soak in the refreshing pool until sunset. • Hot tub: Top deck and amazing views of the ocean and stars. • Gas Grill: By the pool. Enjoy some local caught tuna steaks, lobster, crabs, or the local catch of the day here in the Outer Banks. • Beach Gear: A dozen beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, a soft top surfboard, a beach pull wagon, corn hole, and kid and adult beach games. If you're tired of all the old, outdated, run down beach houses, then Wave House will knock your socks off! We hope you love it as much as we do! HOUSE RULES 1\. Guests are required to complete and sign a Rental Agreement within 24 hours of booking, and provide the names and ages of all individuals staying in the home. A Security Deposit hold of $1,000 is required to be processed on Guest's credit card. This security hold will need to be processed a week prior to check in, is in addition to your total costs, and is released about 10 days after checkout if there are no damages or excess cleaning costs. No unregistered guest are allowed. Additional guests will be charged at $100 per guest per night. 2\. No smoking anywhere on property. If any of your guests smoke inside the house you will be charged a $750.00 Ozone cleaning fee. 3\. No parties. If you host a party with unregistered guests you will be charged $100 per guest, a $600 additional cleaning fee, and will be evicted immediately. 4\. No pets allowed. Sorry. If you bring a pet you will be charged $750.00 plus an additional $500.00 ozone and cleaning fee and will be evicted immediately. 5\. Quiet time in between 10:00pm-7:00am. 6\. No wet towels or wet clothing on the furniture. 7\. External doors and sliders must remain closed at all times while the AC is running. The units will freeze up and shut down, if doors are left open. Repairing an AC during the summer can take a week or more on the Outer Banks, and we don't want you to be without AC during your stay. 8\. Toilet paper is the ONLY thing to be flushed down the Toilet. 9\. No food or waste to be put in the kitchen sink drain. There is NO garbage disposal. 10\. Please do not use the white towels to remove makeup. We provide makeup removal wash cloths for this. Makeup will stain the white towels and then we will have to charge you $35.00 per towel. 11\. NO GLITTER/NO DYE: Glitter is almost impossible to remove and will result in a $1,000 fine to cover excess cleaning. Do not use any temporary or permanent hair dye or other dye products in the rental. Evidence of dye will result in a $500 fine or more if damage occurs to sink, floors, carpets, etc. Primary contact is responsible for all guests along with anyone who enters the home during the stay to abide by these rules. POOL RULES 1\. No Glass in/around the pool area. We charge $1,000 to remove broken glass. So please No Glass around the pool. 2\. No Diving 3\. Swim at your own risk. 4\. Pool Heating is additional $600 per week and is available between April 1-early June and Sept-Oct 31\. Must notify us at least 3 days prior to arrival. 5\. Pool tech will be on property to service pool mid-week of each stay. HOT TUB RULES: ✴No glass near the hot tub area. ✴No diving or jumping into the hot tub. ✴Use the hot tub at your own risk. ✴Do not tamper with the hot tub controls. ✴Shower before entering the hot tub. ✴Keep the hot tub cover on when not in use. ✴Limit hot tub usage to a reasonable duration and temperature not over 104 degrees Fahrenheit. ✴Do not add any chemicals or substances to the hot tub. ✴No food or drinks allowed in the hot tub. ✴Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. ✴Do not use the hot tub if you have open wounds or infections. ✴Report any issues or malfunctions with the hot tub to the property manager immediately. Using the Outdoor Grill : 1\. The grill is yours to use. Please remove food and large debris and scrub the grates with the grill brush (located under the sink / in the grill tool pouch) right after use while it’s still warm. 2\. Empty the grease tray into the small metal bucket under the grill and close the lid. Do not pour grease down drains. 3\. We provide: grill brush, mild dish soap, disposable gloves, and a metal bucket for grease/ash. Please note: If you leave the grill heavily soiled (grease, charred food, or grease pooled around the area), an extra-cleaning charge may apply. Please message us if you need help. Thank you! Cleaning briefly after use helps keep the grill safe and ready for the next guests! The home offers 4 bedrooms with king-size beds that comfortably accommodate up to 8 adults, plus a bunk room with 2 full-over-full bunk beds, perfect for kids (2 per bed, up to 8 total). This location makes for a great getaway at the Outerbanks to spend an entire day (and night). The location is popular for fishing and is ideal for landscape and astro photography. You can have lots of fun on some of the dunes, although getting the sand out afterwards is a big hassle. This is one of my favorite images from this location. I love the warm light tones and the shadows that create a contrast in the foreground sand. It is created from a single exposure with only minor modifications made to adjust overall contrast and brightness. The view was AMAZING! Fully stocked kitchen with an additional refrigerator on the ground floor for back up supplies. Floor plan was ideal for large group lounging on the top floor, yet bedroom suites, game room & hot tub allowed for smaller group connection. Perfect escape for our 20 something children, parents, and siblings. First time celebrating Christmas at the beach. We highly recommend booking yours! The photos are accurate but really doesn't do the house justice. It is right on the beach and we enjoyed just hanging out on the deck on the top floor. There were 6 adults and it was great to have 4 bedrooms with king size beds and let everyone pick what suits them best. We had a few hiccups but none that would make this house less than a 5 star and Brian responded to everything faster than any other host I've dealt with. We didn't have the best weather for the first few days but it really didn't matter. The house is completely stocked and we were very impressed by the kitchen. I don't think there was anything we couldn't find if we needed it. The view is amazing and right on the beach. We were even lucky enough to see some dolphins! I've rented a lot of properties and the guide book to the Wave House that Brian provides is awesome. I downloaded to my home screen on my phone and everything you can think of was right at your fingertips. I would highly recommend this property whether it's with friends or family (yes, kids too), there' a great bunk room downstairs. We played a little competitive pool and listened to music. From the moment we pulled in to your driveway to the moment we pulled out was pure paradise. My family and I were in awe!!! The weather was amazing and the views will be unforgettable. This was our first family vacation in years and we could not have picked a more beautiful spot. The Wavehouse was perfect for the kids who loved spending a week in such a beautiful home. Everything and I mean everything needed was there. Every room was spotless and your towel supply for the pool and beach was great. The beach chairs came in handy and they were used often to sit on the beach. Beds were comfortable and thank you for all the pillows. We all slept like babies…. Speaking of babies, the pack and play for my grandson who is 1 was perfect. The kitchen was my wife’s dream kitchen….. she could not get over the view while doing dishes. Dishes, pots and pans, baking trays and glassware unbelievable. The fireplace and hot tub so beautiful and relaxing in the evenings. It was so nice not having to pack paper products, trash bags, or detergents. Loved the large TVs in bedrooms and living room. Home is very well laid out. The views are incredible and the outdoor furniture was great quality. The only let down were the mattresses and pillows. We like firmer mattresses and fuller pillows. House was very clean also. The only negatives were: the beds were hard, the photo of the outside exterior storage room, grill and bikes is dated. The storage room was a mess, the bikes very rusted but usable and the pool was very sandy. We paid for the heating of the pool and it wasn’t warm. The house is huge and had enough room for 20+. The elevator was a game changer! The house is beautiful and clean, and the kitchen had every appliance and gadget you can think of plus more. There was a great library with lots of books for different interest and lots of information about Rodanthe and the Outer Banks. Brian, the host was very attentive and quick to respond with any question or concern we had. He gave great suggestions on places to visit and places to eat. The hot tub was big enough for all five of us and we shared a lot of laughs there. All of the beds were comfortable and the linens and towels were first class. April 2024 We had the entire family here. Grandparents, parents, children and couldn’t have asked for more. Large beautiful home with two kitchens, a game room, a pool, a hot tub, bikes, sand toys, beach chairs, boogie boards, baskets of beach towels and a wide variety of cooking utensils, dishes and even coffee and spices. Take your cloths, food and sunscreen and have an amazing time in this house right on the beach. Very clean with two washers and two dryers for your convenience! Host was incredibly responsive with questions and even offered us advice on where to go for the best seafood. We have never stayed at a rental with more to offer than this one. The rooms were comfortable and professionally furnished. The ensuites and elevator made it so comfortable for our 90 year old mother and the rest of us. We loved gathering in the oceanside top level kitchen for breakfast and lingering over coffee on the deck. The owner was extremely helpful with recommendations and any questions at all, he responded right away. The house was well stocked with all the basics and good quality kitchen items.
