Millstone Hideaway

This Property located on racoon lake. Great place to wake up and go fishing and swimming. As well as there is public hunting grounds, located not too far from property in Parke county. This is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom small cabin style that makes a perfect getaway for families and hunters. This property is on well water, and has a grill. Perfect place to make memories!

The trees were beautiful (oct/nov) very peaceful- close to the covered bridge loop. Loved all the windows. Would love to see even a fake fire place (the fire stove was ok (you cant watch the fire :( ) Would stay again.

Great little cabin in a gorgeous setting! We had everything we needed (plus some!) for our stay, and it was all very clean. The back porch and the view is amazing!! I could drink coffee out there every morning and never be sad. Wonderful stay!

Home in the woods was ideal for a couple of days getaway. Room was comfortable, kitchen had everything you would need to prepare meals and snacks. Spent alot of time on the back deck enjoying the view while having my favorite libation.

Excellent host. Quiet neighborhood. Very good access to State Parks, Covered Bridges driving tour & other points of interest.Biggest disappointment was the deck. We wanted to enjoy the quiet evenings watching the deer that were coming thru. Yet it was too dirty (leaves, dust, dirt, cobwebs) to enjoy.And very poor water pressureBut overall, if u want a rustic cabin, quiet setting, ignore the disappointments.

Very easy check in. It was nice and quiet, relaxing. We will be back next year. Lovely back deck. Had wifi for the kids. Near the lake. Really convenient.

Nice private cabin. Good base for between activities of which the area has plenty. Only real issue was outside of anyones control were the bugs seem to have it out for my 7yo. One morning we came out to a spider the size of my hand had made a 6 foot web blocking his car door . And a caterpillar found its way itno his shower also. Other than that we had a great time.

Lovely Hideaway

If you are looking for a place to hike at Turkey Run or rent a boat for a day at the lake, this house is perfect. Quiet, with a wonderful back deck, the house was the perfect base for our weekend getaway.

Rustic cabin getaway

This cabin is perfect for those who appreciate the rustic cabin experience. It is stocked with everything you need plus more. Having WiFi was a huge plus. We loved cooking over the fire outside and sitting on the back deck. Beds were comfortable. Only bad thing I can say is the house had a very musty smell that is covered up by plugs in and air freshener. Overall enjoyed our stay!

What a great place to sit back and relax on the back deck and enjoy the feel of days past in the house. Thank you for the games we had a blast playing The Andy Griffith Show Trivia. Also not far from Turkey Run and Shades. We will stay again!!

A welcome reprieve

Don’s place was exactly as advertised - it is quaint and beautiful. We enjoyed spending time on the wraparound deck and it was a short walk to the lake from the house. Great setup for cooking, grilling and outdoor activities. Would highly recommend.
