We sincerely apologise for this inconvenience. An unforeseen incident with a power line nearby did, unfortunately, lead to a temporary power outage at our caves. We understand the frustration this may have caused and deeply regret that we couldn't provide the expected experience.

Wonderful place, the cabin was very spacious and well appointed. Very little phone reception but it’s a good opportunity to be device free. The caves are amazing

Excellent cabins and cave tours
The cabin we stayed in was excellent, large and well equipped. Nice BBQ which we never got to utilise. Went on the 3 tours and all were great, especially the adventure tour. Reception and tour guides friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Only problem for us was we caught Uber there and didn’t realise the groceries and restaurant were 5min drive down the road.

This property is a hidden gem. Having lived in the central Qld area for most of my life I'm ashamed to say this was my first visit to Capricorn Caves and the Caravan Park. Oh what have I missed out on for all these years. The cabin our family had slept six very comfortably and was very clean with all the amenities needed for our stay. A BBQ on the deck was an added bonus as it made self catering so much easier. The peace and serenity of the area would be a perfect getaway for someone wanting to escape the craziness of city life for a few days. For our family it could not have been better. 10 out of 10 thank you so much for having us.

Signs say gates shut at 6. Arrived at 5 30 and they shut. (Have minial service to call for help which we understand is not their fault) Soiled kids undies in the cupboard Hairs on pillows and in bathroom drains Found on monday when we stripped the bed they also had skid marks and poo on them. Emailed park themselves on Monday before making the review but still no reply and its now Thursday. I would go back for the tours if Drew was doing them but otherwise steer clear of the joint.

Great spot with comfortable accommodation
We spend 2 nights in a 2 bedroom cottage which was spacious, clean and comfortable. The caves cathedral tour was excellent, highly recommend this tour for all ages. There is no mobile reception in the cottages or caravan park. Free wifi is only available at the caves cafe/reception area.

Quiet and private villas. Prices are average. Would have liked free caving when you renta room but with 5 of us paying 30$ to see the caves each it gets expensive.

Cabins are a great size and are tidy and have all the amenities you could need! Make sure you have your groceries with you as it is quite a trip back in to Rockhampton to stock up! Pool was a little disappointing as it is not where the cabins are located but right beside the tour office so we gave swimming a miss for that reason. A little overpriced for 3 but can fit 6 so worth it if you are travelling with a larger group/family.

Peaceful bush hideaway
We needed accommodation in order to attend Opera in the Caves on a Saturday night. The cabin was spacious, with everything we could possibly need. Surrounded by trees, very quiet and restful, all four of us had a comfortable night's sleep after watching the show. Lovely added touch of a complimentary basket filled with goodies. Nearby there are camping spots and powered sites suitable for caravans and motor-homes (RVs). Wallabies and birdsong greeted us in the morning.

we were pleasantly surprised they gave us a goodie basket of treats to enjoy while we stayed. I would recommend the place, its away from the normal hustle and bustle.. we also did a caves tour.. all in all a great stay.
