Park your car in the single car detached garage, enjoy the three-season porch, relax on the patio; most of all, be sure to enjoy the beautifully landscaped yard. You will forget you are right in the middle of Rochester. Come see for yourself. Book today. THE SPACE This house is perfect for anyone visiting Rochester for business purposes or guests with family members receiving treatment at Mayo Clinic. Guests must climb four steps to get into the house. Guests will have the entire house to themselves. Once inside the kitchen, dining room, living room, and front porch are on the main level. Two bedrooms and the full bathroom are located upstairs. The laundry and half bath are located downstairs. AMENITITES • Fully equipped kitchen. • Luxurious bathroom with tub. • High speed internet. • Smart TVs in the living room and primary bedroom. • Comfortable couch and leather power recliner. • Memory foam mattresses. • High-end linens. • Elongated toilet in bathroom. • Laundry in the basement. • Access to the beautifully landscaped private back yard and deck. • Single car detached garage with opener. GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to the entire property. No one else lives on the property. GUEST INTERACTION We live in town and are available if needed. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help during your stay. For your convenience, there is a magnet on the fridge with our contact information. CHECK IN INSTRUCTIONS The entrance to the home has a keypad. We will provide the code (4 digits) for keypad on the day of your arrival. The keypad is located on the door on the side of the house by the driveway. Type in the code and turn the deadbolt. For guests arriving late, the keypad is lighted, and the flood light will turn on as you approach the door. To lock as you come and go, press the logo on the keypad and turn the deadbolt to the lock position. Once inside there is a welcome letter with the WIFI password and other instructions and other important information like when to take out the garbage bins. PARKING ONLY park in the driveway or garage (opener on counter). Do NOT block the alley. Street parking is permit only during the week. GARBAGE AND RECYCLING The bins are located next to the garage. Service is on Friday. Bring the bins to the curb on Thursday night. Note: The house across the alley is also a short-term rental that we own. The bins are shared between the two houses. THE YARD If you see activity in the yard, it’s us doing maintenance. RULES • Treat this home as you would your own. • Do NOT wear shoes on the carpet. • Maximum 3 guests only. • Absolutely no unauthorized overnight guests. CHECK OUT INSTRUCTIONS • Log out of any online accounts. • Return the garage door opener. • Do the dishes. • Set the thermostat to 72°. • $100 minimum charge to mail any forgotten items. • We will take care of everything else. NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW The neighborhood is bustling during the day with professionals making their way to work. Things quiet down after 6:00pm and the neighborhood is peaceful. GETTING AROUND This home is within walking distance to downtown and Mayo Clinic. A vehicle is not necessary but may be desired. Most major stores have two locations in town. It is likely you will find whatever you need in a 10-mile radius. If you find yourself downtown with a vehicle, the parking ramps and meters are free after 6:00pm. My daughter and I were able to walk to the Mayo Civic Center and to downtown area with a 10-15 minute walk. The driveway is easy to drive into and park. The kitchen had items that made it easy to cook and prepare meals. A couple notes this house does not have a dishwasher so you will wash your own dishes. The furniture was exactly what we'd hoped for, comfortable beds & living room furniture. Having a recliner is always a plus! The deck was under construction which we were not aware of until arrival. Kudos to the owner for replacing old boards but an advance notice would have been nice. House was clean, comfortable beds, great linens (super fluffy bath towels) and well stocked kitchen. Close enough to walk to Mayo, which we did on several occasions.
