"We met with our grown children and close family members for our youngest son's graduation at A&M, and to celebrate Mother's Day and our anniversary, all in the same weekend! It seems like it's in the middle of nowhere driving up to it, but once we went inside and checked everything out, we realized this was the perfect place for us. They had several great outdoor activities to keep our family and friends entertained, and we used the grill to cook stakes and sausages. There was plenty of room for our family members to stay and the beds and couches were so comfortable. It's hard to find a place with 3 full bathrooms and plenty of room for everyone to sit, as well as having out-door activities. It was reasonably priced, and check in and check out was simple. I would suggest getting croceries before you get there, at the nearest large city, as the nearest real grocery store is about a 30 minute drive."

"The house and location are amazing and the hosts are even more amazing! We stayed here for my wife’s doctoral graduation from A&M. We had our two boys with us and some family that stayed nearby. We were greeted with a congratulations cake for my wife. My boots and their cousins enjoyed the fishing at their pond and getting to run around. The hosts were amazing to our children. The house and property are beautiful and it’s just a short drive into College Station. My boys are already asking when we can visit again!"

"The hotel is beautiful and our room was perfect and very clean, Huge downside: our room #21, had the railroad tracks just outside our windows. The trains ran ALL night long, and blew their whistles multiple times as they came thru. I didn’t sleep at ALL. Worst night in a hotel I’ve ever experienced. Possibly another room might be better - but I would never stay there again to see. The trains ruined the positive experience of this historic hotel."

"Cabin was perfect place to stay with 2 little ones. The train at night was a bit of a surprise to us, but the location was great along and it provided everything we needed. The host was great as well. "
