On the ground floor: dining room/kitchen, living room with fireplace (wood provided). Upstairs: mezzanine living room with reading corner and sleeping area with a queen-size bed enclosed by curtains, a bedroom with a double bed with access to a balcony, a children's area enclosed by a glass roof with two single beds, a bathroom with toilet.  
Private terrace overlooking the 400 m² shared enclosed courtyard, a 100 m² private garden 10 m from the kitchen door, and a plancha grill.  
Baby equipment: cot, high chair, and bathtub.  
Heating by pellet stove to be paid on site according to consumption.  
A covered shelter with a Green Up outlet for electric vehicle charging.  
Ping pong upon request.  
Horses are welcome (in a stable or paddock; see owner for conditions and prices).  
Non-smoking cottage. 2nd gîte on site, can be rented together (Ref: 16G50552) Located on a property with horses, this gîte is housed in a local stone house that has retained its authentic character and exposed timbers.

- ![My dad's friend owns a really cool karting circuit in Pageas, a few kilometres from Chalus where I grew up in France.  
They are both hunters.  I know this is not everyone's cup of tea, but a lot of people from that generation in rural France do like hunting, fishing, fetching mushrooms.  
There are woodlands all around the karting circuit.  My dad and his friend have built some platforms in the trees, and from mid-October to mid-November they go there every morning to shoot migrating birds.  Those ones are some sort of wood pigeons going from Eastern Europe / Russia to North Africa.
