I truly enjoyed my stay here. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They made me feel like I belonged and I was apart of their family. My room was immaculate with a stunning view of the mountains and sauna and jet tub. It’s a 4 min walk to the beach and other attractions. I will be returning for another visit!!

Room was a decent size, and the staff kindly upgraded me due to a leg injury. Breakfast was busy and often overcrowded, with the buffet fairly average. The lifts also broke down during my stay, which was a real nightmare given my mobility issues

Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff was friendly ...the breakfast was extravagant....lots of good tasty options being constantly refilled. Close to shopping, food and the Copacabana beach. Excellent location. The bathroom design was horrible... though spacious the towels being hung above the toilet and open bidet was disgusting. . A towel rack on the blank wall would have been so much more sanitary. The air-conditioning was kept to the barest minimum...way too hot. I would however stay there again because the location is very convenient.

Stayed only 3 days, WiFi never worked, ac was not functional, puddles of water kept appearing under the sink. I complained, first they said it would be fixed, it wasn’t. Next day they offered to change my room but had to be done the following morning, which was my last day. Would still recommend for the location.

The concierge staff was overall kind and helpful. Roger and another gentleman on his shift, who also wore glasses, answered questions, gave directions, and offered recommendations. They were especially warm. The manager was also as accommodating as his position would permit. Everyone I encountered in the hotel was pleasant and approachable. I liked my room. Though the building’s infrastructure is a bit old (as evidenced by the whining of the pipes when the bathroom faucet is engaged) the hotel satisfied most guests’ concerns in that it was quiet, clean, and had useful amenities like a gym and sunlit rooftop. Also, I felt safe in the hotel. The location is ideal as it sits within 5-7 minutes walk from the beach and within walking distance of shops and an array of restaurants and bars. My party had to venture to Lapa for the night life we desired and we were very pleased with that outcome. Though I didn’t eat breakfast, the buffet was stacked and replenished. We didn’t feel rushed at its closing and the buffet staff was also kind and accommodating, within reason. My party was able to fill up for our day long excursions on an array of familiar and new favorites ( I.e. pao de queso) foods every morning. I highly recommend this hotel to travelers to Rio. It may not be a 5-star hotel but the staff, service, and amenities were everything I’d expect of one. My hotel stay is included among the reasons I enjoyed my stay in Rio!

The hotel is very centrally located, just a few blocks from the beach, which made it very convenient for getting around. The property was clean, and the breakfast offered a good variety of options. However, the customer service at the front desk definitely needs improvement. Every time I had to speak with the lobby staff, they did not seem willing or interested in helping. Their responses were often very short and dismissive, and I did not feel welcomed or supported when I needed assistance. I was also surprised that the hotel charges guests to store their luggage before check-in. I have stayed at many hotels and had never experienced being charged simply to leave my bags for a few hours before the room was ready.

About two blocks away from the beach, felt very safe in the neighborhood. Great food options close by. Staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast buffet had scrambled eggs different sausages and lots of fresh fruit and bread options. My only complaint is the scrambled eggs were very wet but overall great food at breakfast! Room was a little small but very clean and nice. Pool was so beautiful and they have a sauna and place to hangout on the roof with great views. I would definitely stay here again!
