Only thing though : due to the heavy winds, we heard a lot of noise because of one door who had a lot of difficulty to be closed efficiently. Fortunately, this isn't happening every weekend. « This is a gem! Fantastic value for money as far as I am concerned. Beautiful room, great restaurant menu and on Saturday they have a DJ liven up their cocktail bar. Free parking on sundays, easy parking in the near vincinity. They welcome pets for a reasonable fee and the staff was super welcoming. They have recently opened and are super aware of some minor issues, but they adrewsed them perfectly. I also found out that De Bij, in the past, was called De Mug, which was my elderly mum’s favorite...

« De locatie is uniek vanwege de vele poesen, kippen ,vogels. De omgeving nodigd uit tot fietsen en gezellige terrassen zijn er veel te vinden. Strand en veel natuurgebieden. Zeer kindvriendelijk. Het appartement had alles in zich om een fijne vakantie te hebben. Volledige keuken inventaris, vaatwasmachine! Bedden goed. Het enige min puntje was voor ons dat er nergens een raam open kon, alleen een ventielatierooster. »

"Très bon séjour en demi pension. La chambre un peu petite était très calme, nous avions vue sur les dunes. Nous nous sommes régalés avec le petit déjeuner très copieux avec des produits locaux et surtout du jus d’orange frais ! Pour le repas du soir il y a un menu dédié à la demi pension avec plusieurs choix sinon vous pouvez choisir des plats à la carte dans la mesure de 45€ sinon vous payez la différence. Les plats sont tous très bons et très copieux! 😋 Le seul point négatif car très agaçant est le dévidoir de papier toilette dans la salle de bain de la chambre, trop bas et très compliqué d’attraper le papier qui reste « collé » au rouleau 😓 De très belles balades dans les dunes partent de l’hôtel et les villes de Middelburg, Veere, Vlissingen sont très proches. Un séjour à recommander ☺️"
