« Host was very responsive. Extremely easy check-in/check-out. Quiet, simple and right in the heart of the town. Walking distance to everything. The stairs are very narrow and steep but there are handles and small landings on each floor that make it easier to navigate. Parking is in the alley behind the building but it was a very short walk to the main door. It was clean and perfect for a short stay. »

« It was great! Excellent communication from host on what to expect. Everything was exactly as pictured. Secluded, quiet, nice area. It was the perfect getaway with our pets. »

« Sheena was a very friendly and responsive host. The Cozy Cottage was clean, comfortable, and included all of the amenities we needed and a few extras, like coffee and flavored creamers! We will definitely choose the Cozy Cottage for our next stay in Mabel! »

« We had an amazing, peaceful, and private stay—just what we wanted! The location was great and very close to everything decorah has to offer! The fall colors were beautiful and definitely showing off for us. We ended up using the air mattress to sleep on and that worked out really well for us as the back of the futon wasn’t very comfortable, but great for sitting! We were never able to find the trails that led down to the bottom of the Quarry, but that’s ok. We didn’t need to talk to the owners...

« House is stocked with everything we needed for a several weeks stay - great home base for exploring the area. We especially enjoyed the front porch - sitting out and watching the sun rise, and the deer wandering the neighborhood in the evenings. A short stroll to downtown Decorah. Laundry on site was super helpful, and we had room for a couple guests to spend a few nights with us. Ten out of ten! »

« We had a fantastic stay at Bluffview Gardens! It was the perfect setting to relaxand hang out. Right in town but it feels like you’re farther out in the serene hillside. Host was in communication every step of the way and check-in and check-out were easy and efficient. We definitely plan on returning! »

« This is the perfect house to stay in! There are 4 bedrooms, two living rooms, and a large kitchen. My family had plenty of room! Not only is the house large, the outside is large, too. We easily sat 6 of us around the backyard patio table and grilled. What a pleasant weekend! »
