While this Hyatt Place property is located in a very upscale community and in a prominent location that is where its exclusivity ends. The staff is generally friendly and courteous, however, the kitchen staff have their own issues. The food at breakfast was mediocre at best. Cold scrambled eggs, sausage and frozen bagels with only one partially working toaster to serve every diner. The room is comfortable and spacious, but our room the toilet ran continuously during our stay and was reported to the desk clerk. The coffee pot was functioning fine, but the lid was broken off. Will find another location for my next visit to Ridgeland.

When we arrived there was a sign on the desk that said the desk manager was away from the desk assisting another guest. We waited approximately 20 minutes & the desk manager walks through the front door with a bag from Aplos Restaurant. While we were waiting another guest comes in & goes to the bar. I said no one is here & he said. Service here is not the best. He said he had been staying there for several weeks for work & service was lacking. We checked out around 4 AM to catch a plane. Manager couldn’t get me a copy of my receipt. I gave him my email & he said he would email me. I never got it.

Staff upon check in was awesome! Morning staff not so pleasant. Food served in the morning was not good or enough. Microwaves are not in rooms and the one they have downstairs is not available until after breakfast hours. Overall the stay was good for the two days I was there.

I booked at a Hyatt because I expected it to be a little nicer. Unfortunately we got there to check in, around 6:30 pm, after a 7 hour car ride and our room was a mess. No sheets on the bed, old food and trash around the room, filthy. Ok, we thought it was a simple mixup of a room marked clean that hadn’t been cleaned. We informed Madisson at the desk, who was extremely kind, apologetic and helpful. (Bonus points for her, she deserves a raise) Unfortunately the hotel was completely booked and there wasn’t another available room for us, there was also a constant flow of people and so Maddison couldn’t much help us get the room cleaned as she was the only person working at all that evening. After waiting over an hour and poor Maddison being constantly swamped, I even offered to clean the room if she could get us a cleaning cart. But she was able to get in touch with her manager who came and cleaned the room for us so we could finally get into our room at about 9 pm. After that fiasco I was grateful for their effort to help us. However overall the stay wasn’t great. A broken ice machine and no vending machine on every floor, the continental breakfast was basically bagels, yogurt with pineapple and some flavorless eggs or dry waffles. Also there was only one pot of coffee that was constantly empty. I think 4-5 different patrons asked how much longer for coffee. We had used Expedia to book, which I won’t do again, because we couldn’t even cancel and go somewhere else.

Our room, next to the elevator, was ready when we arrived on Wednesday afternoon. Not content with registering my debit card for “incidentals,” the hotel charged me 40.00, promising to give it back if I didn’t run up any charges. On Thursday and Friday mornings when we left the hotel, I reminded them that our room should be cleaned and made up. No one touched the room during our three-night stay. Despite a personal appeal to the front desk on the two days. Citing a prepaid (Expedia) “third party reservation,” the hotel presented me with a checkout bill showing an unidentified credit balance of 27.00. No room charge, taxes, or any other breakdown. We did manage to extract some clean towels one evening. Without going into minute detail, the hotel was just plain tired. The drain in our washbasin and our shower was damaged. The radio berwen our beds was turned on and off by a wall switch beside the entrance door. I will skip over how long it took to ferret out that distinctive feature. We did not eat breakfast, which looked just fine, but the Regular coffee (the only one of three dispensers that bore a label) at 0715, in the middle of breakfast hours. Making myself heard with some difficulty (one of the servers was shouting, “I don’t be anybody’s maid!”) to the front desk, I was met with as much eagerness to produce fresh coffee as if I’d suggested re-tiling the lobby floor. I had a radio appearance scheduled for 0800, so I really didn’t have time to waste. This was not true of

I am dissatisfied, disgusted, with how the Manager Courtney handled my situation! My items were missing out of my room after I got it cleaned on Friday, I called immediately and let the front desk know what all was missing and gave my contact info and was told they would ask house keeping also a manager would give me a call! I didn’t hear anything back Monday morning before the day of my check out so I decided to call the front desk I got Courtney the manager on the phone. Let her know what had happened Courtney responded. “I saw a note with this information on it” ( Courtney did not call to inform me of anything but saw the note and knew my personal items were missing and had my contact info) and said “I am so sorry but unfortunately there’s nothing we can do. You can go down to the local police department and file a police report.” Terrible unacceptable, disgusting I could NOT BELIEVE IT, I went down to the 1st floor looking but saw the young lady setting up breakfast instead asked her where Courtney was, who had already left! Thank goodness the young lady got all my missing items information wrote them down, finished up breakfast! Called right before we got ready to check out to inform me that my items were retrieved pick them up! I’m happy I got my items back But Worse experience ever

Let’s just say my over all experience was horrible but it ended well! The over all staff were amazing, Everyone at the front desk housing keeping, maintenance, smiling and greeting the entire stay! I booked 2 separate reservations items were missing, protocols were not met! Ms Courtney did a horrible job! Thankfully the young lady at the front desk took the time to look for my missing (missing for 3 days) items after she had made the breakfast and taking care of the front desk! I wish this hotel would update and fix problems. It is in the best location for us with my 2 little dogs to walk around the shopping center. We had a closet door that was broken and unable to open, the sink leaked water all over the floor and most outlets do not work. The staff was super friendly, breakfast was great and check in and out was super easy! If they would just fix up the hotel this place would be perfect.

Consistently good place to stay!
Great check in the evening we arrived, clean and comfortable room, cozy and clean lobby, breakfast had good options but was cold at 830am, pool was locked at 930(scheduled to open at 6am), we asked twice to have it opened. Housekeeping was great!

I’ve stayed here a couple of times and for the most part they’ve always been fairly clean and have a decent breakfast. This time the shower was dirty (molded shower floor) and the tv only had one channel. 2 star visit although other stays here would rank about a 3.5ish

Property was in a great location. Room was very nice. A little disappointed that they did not have USB charging ports and thenrooms had no microwaves. The water pressure for.showers was not very strong.
