Very long delay to check in due to laundry issues at the hotel. Then our room smelled terribly of smoke. They did allow us to switch rooms but the delays took over 2 hours. The pool was warm but very small and closed very early. The restaurant food and room service were excellent!

It is a sprawling property. If you have any issues with mobility, you need to know in advance because there were stairs involved just to get to an elevator. Unfortunately, the room we got had the view of two air-conditioning units. So that was a definite negative. And the floor was uneven. Perhaps it’s because we were on the first floor and the place is really old…. But the property itself is quite lovely. Just not a place I would spend another night.
