Nereid Villa boasts a generous 1000m2 private outdoor space, crafted for both fun and relaxation. A 25m² private swimming pool (1.50m depth, heated upon request with an extra fee) awaits, featuring comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas for carefree days in the sun. Adjacent to the pool, a spa whirlpool adds a touch of indulgence, perfect for sunset soaks. A shaded pergola shelters the outdoor dining area with BBQ facilities (charcoal), perfect for alfresco meals with a view of the olive grove and coastline. The large stone terrace and lawn-covered play area create a joyful space for children, complete with outdoor toys and a ping pong table for family fun.   
  
Outdoor Pool & Whirlpool Heating Policy:  
 \- Pool Temperature | Heating temperature could vary up to 26°C subject to the outdoor weather conditions.  
 \- Preferred Months | Pool heating is typically used during the months March - Mid June & October, November.  
\- Advance Notice | 2 days’ notice prior arrival is mandatory for the pool to reach the optimal temperature.   
\- Additional Fees | 50€/day for the first two days & 35€/every additional day.  
\- Booking Duration | Pool heating is exclusively bookable for the entire stay, at the cumulative cost as outlined above.  
 \- Weather Conditions | When the outside temperature is above 25 °C or in case of rain it shall not operate. Kindly note that a pool cover is not available.

#### Another lovely week in Crete

Our fourth time visiting Crete... We enjoyed a lovely week at Nereid Villa, despite our flight being delayed the owner were happy to wait for us to show us round the villa. The villa is situated in an elevated position with beautiful views across the sea and olive groves. We spent most of our time at the rear of the property enjoying the sunsets which were spectacular and lovely pool. The villa was extremely clean and equipped with everything you need. There were a couple of things which needed attention but we made this clear to the owner so they could be rectified before their next guests. A car is a must here as there's so much to see, Georgioupolis was our local favourite place to visit. Thank you!

Traumhafte Sicht, aktuelle Technik, alles top sauber. Mückenrollos & Sonnenschutz, der wirklich schützt, gewartete Klimaanlagen, schöner Pool und Whirlpool. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten auf dem Vorplatz. Strand in 1 min Entfernung zum 12 km langem Strand. Viele Strandbars mit Sonnenliegen. 15 min ins schöne Rehtymno.

Die Villa hat eine tolle Leute auf der Insel. Leider ist der Weg zum Strand über einen kurzen Abschnitt direkt an einer Straße ohne Gehweg und über eine Art Bundesstraße. Sehr sauber und gepflegte Villa. Der Pool wurde regelmäßig sauber gemacht und die Villa verfügt über alles was man braucht.

#### Pool und Aussicht top, Lage und Innenausstattung okay!

Der Aussenbereich des Hauses mit dem Pool ist wirklich sehr schön. Der Ausblick ist 5 Sterne! Der Whirlpool ist leider KEIN richtiger Whirlpool. Es gibt lediglich zwei Düsen an einer Seite und er ist NICHT beheizt! Mit dem Auto ist man in 3 min. am Strand und bei diversen Restaurants am Meer, ein Supermarkt mit allem was man braucht, ist ebenfalls mit dem Auto in 3 min. erreichbar. Die Lage ist im Grunde ruhig, ungestört und man ist für sich. Nur auf der direkt anliegenden Straße fahren abends laute Motorräder und Autos vorbei, was nach ein paar Tagen dann doch irgendwann stört. Das Haus war sauber. Die Innenausstattung ist okay, aber gerade die Küche hätten wir besser ausgestattet erwartet und auch auch in den Duschen könnten die Amaturen mal erneuert oder zumindest festgeschraubt werden. Jeder Duschkopf und jede Seifenschale kam einem entgegen, wenn man sie berührt hat. Aussenbereicht, Aussicht und Pool 5 Sterne, Lage und Sauberkeit 4 Sterne, Innenausstattung 3 Sterne. Gesamtbewertung: 4 \*\*\*\* Sterne!

#### Spectacular sunsets

This property had lovely views over the sea and stunning sunsets at night. The outdoor space was good with lots of areas for shade and nice eating areas. We enjoyed the barbecue area and being able to eat outside late into the night. However, we had problems with a green algae in the pool around the walls at water level. The owner tried hard to put this right but it wasn’t until we insisted an independent pool company came in that it started to disappear. Unfortunately, this was at the end of our holiday and by that time all our newly bought swimming costumes had turned green and were ruined. The owner said that the problem with the pool was caused by our suntan lotion and the heat but this did not happen in the second villa we stayed at the following week. The interior of the villa was bright and very comfortable upstairs where the living area/ kitchen were. There were spacious balconies to eat on and view the sunsets with a drink at night. The bedrooms downstairs were nicely decorated but small and the bathrooms were very dark and claustrophobic with no extractors. The villa company and owner were responsive and communicative with the maintenance issues we had but it would have been nice if they had been sorted before we arrived. There was a kettle which leaked, a cupboard off the hinges, a soap dish which spun around, light bulbs which weren’t working and a safe which wasn’t fixed to the wall. They sorted the kettle and the light bulbs on the same day although the other issues weren’t fixed when we left. It did feel a bit tired and just needed a bit more maintenance to make it feel a bit more cared for. The villa is in an area with just a few other villas around and a small supermarket just up the road. You can walk to the beach but the road is busy and fast moving with no pavement and it felt quite dangerous. The beach is large, clean and minutes away by car and there are free sun beds and parking provided by the tavernas. Overall we did have a lovely holiday at this villa and enjoyed our stay. With a bit more attention to detail it could be even better. Please note: The hot tub IS NOT HEATED. Having read, in other reviews that it wasn’t, we went to the trouble of asking before we went and were reassured. 2 weeks before we arrived we were told the policy had changed. We were offered some small compensation when we asked but just be aware it is not warm enough to use at night even in the hot weather we had.

A house that gave us everything we needed. The house is in a great location for the beaches, it was clean and well equipped, but the garden was where we spent all our time enjoying the stunning view from either the pool, the hot tub or the shaded eating area. Make sure you have a car to get around.

#### Sehr schönes Haus in toller Lage

Ein wirklich sehr schönes Haus. Bis zum Strand mit diversen Tavernen sind es nur ca. 800 m. Trotzdem hat mir hier absolute Privatsphäre und eine tolle Aussicht. Das Haus wurde alle 4 Tage von den sehr netten Eigentümern gereinigt. Die örtliche Betreuung durch Valia ist sensationell! Absolut weiter zu empfehlen.

#### Villa with phantastic view

We were 6 persons, including 2 kids staying in the villa in April 2019\. The house is very clean and has a well equipped kitchen, although space of sleeping rooms in basement was somewhat limited. A major street to the heartland runs behind the villa, but hardly any traffic noise in the huge garden facing the seafront. The owner was immediately reachable when we had questions and smaller issues.

We really enjoyed our stay at villa Nereid in October 2018\. It has a great view over olive trees and coast. The villa with it's 3 beedrooms had enough space for our family (2 adults, 2 kids). We loved playing in the pool and sunbathing. 3 min by car to the sandy beach with a lot of beach restaurants was great. The villa is equiped with everything you need and if you need anything else, the host always cares about you. Prior our stay the local contact (Villa Management) answered every question quickly and gave us a lot of helpful hints/links/ideas, so we were perfectly prepared. Region is beautyful: next to beaches and mountains. We felt always save, the property is surrounded by fences. We would always come back! Thank you Valia and Valia 😀

#### Fantastic villa, all amenities, gracious hosts, convenient location

We absolutely loved our stay at Nereid Villa. Highly recommend. Great for families with small kids as well. Our little one loved spending time in the outdoor area with playhouse and splashing around in the shallow area of the jacuzzi. Peaceful location - quiet at night. Only a short drive to Episkopi Village where there is a supermarket and plenty of taverna options a bit further down the road. The best sandy beach in the area is 5-7 minute drive from the property. We spent most days relaxing there under the free umbrellas. Highly recommend having a car, and be careful when exiting the villa as it is on a turn and there is a blind spot. Overall, it was the best relaxing, fun and easy family vacation we've had in a long time. Hosts are very responsive and very kind to come clean and take care of all our needs at the property. Would love to come back!

#### Clean, spacious, great pool and jacuzzi, fabulous views, fully equipped, great location & welcoming

Beyond doubt one of the best views from this beautiful villa, the owners were most welcoming and only came to welcome and clean, fantastic pool and jacuzzi and lots of places to chill or hide from the sun. Full amenities all clean and working. Location was great by the beach and enough local tavernas- recommend a car to get to the best restaurants and these were recommended by the owners and were worth a visit. Highly recommend.

#### Perfect for family with friends or grandparents

Very nice house with good facilities. The hostess was excellent. The pool was well checked every other day and we got new towels every four days along with new bedding. One should have a car since 800 meters is far if it is very hot weather. All in all, very pleased with the rent.

Charming hosts, who came regularly to clean and brought us gifts from their garden and cakes. The outside area is lovely with a sheltered balcony and fantastic views over the sea and mountains.We very much enjoyed going to the sea, although walk able it's best to take a car as the property is situated on a road (without a pavement). We used a friendly local taxi service (+30 6937 127429 and ask for xristos) to visit tavernas sometimes in the evening.

#### Superb villa, wonderful hosts!

The villa is lovely and not overlooked by anyone. The electronic front gate gives an increased sense of security, albeit that isn't required as this is one of the safest and friendliest islands that we have visited. The road outside doesn't have pavements and is quite fast, so we wouldn't advise walking anywhere, but that aside the location is good, only 10/15 minutes by cars from numerous restaurants etc. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, and Valia's cakes were very good. The villa is great for sunbathing and the beach was very quiet when we visited at the end of May / start of June. We would definitely return to the island and this villa.

#### Lovely villa for our family vacation. Breathtaking views.

This is a lovely villa well positioned for visiting this part of crete, Rethymno & Georgiopolis are only 20 minutes away. The views from the villa are absolutely amazing. Breathtaking. The villa owner made us very welcome throughout our stay, baking us a cake .. and even brought us eggs and vegetables. Such lovely people. The villa is peaceful, totally private, and has panaramic views that really do take your breath away.

Superb villa in a gorgeous environment. Still better than what we see on the photos. We enjoyed the pool every day of our stay, returning from great roundtrips in the country. #### The best Villa we have ever stayed in!!

As described the views from the villa were simply amazing. The villa itself was superb and very well equipped. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is that the jacuzzi wasn't heated which was a shame. We stayed in early October and although the weather was 28-33 degrees during the day the jacuzzi was too cold to use in the evenings. The local area is lovely and Episkopi beach was unspoilt with free sun loungers & parasols and a couple of good tavernas. Although the villa is close to all amenities we found a car was essential as the roads are not really made for walking. A trip to Lake Kournas is a must and I recommend the nearby Tavern Ancient Lappa and Mikra Livardi Restaurant. The owner Valia was very welcoming and made the best chocolate cake! She provided good local information and was always available if needed. The villa was spotlessly clean and Valia and her family came regularly to change linen/towels, clean the villa and maintain the pool. Excellent service!
