It is only 30 meters away from the sea offering panoramic views of Georgioupolis bay. Katerina villa is located in the northern part of Crete which is a famous destination between Chania and Rethymno, the most cozy and attractive cities of the island, with many museums, castles, old towns and vivid night life.  
 In villa Katerina you can enjoy privacy for your up to 15 family and friends in the two floors of the property. In its 5 acres of land you can find a huge garden with trees, grass, flowers, a 30 square meter private pool and a BBQ area with dining furniture. Moreover there are sun beds, umbrellas and an outdoor shower in case you prefer swimming at the pool instead of your private beach. The villa has 7 stylish bedrooms with windows enjoying sea or garden views and 4 bathrooms and 1 separate WC. All the villa furniture and materials have been carefully selected to create a romantic atmosphere with a touch of style; also there is a huge variety of modern comforts and amenities. The living room and all bedrooms have air condition and Wi-Fi is available. At the living room there is an open fireplace and a big flat screen TV with satellite reception that will keep you company after a tiring day of swimming or adventuring around the island. The kitchen is fully equipped with a big dining table and it has a variety of amenities such as dishwasher, fridge with freezer, electric kitchen, microwave, kettle, toaster, French coffee maker, juice maker and the villa has also washing machine, an iron and an iron board.  
Katerina villa has a safe and there is also parking space inside the premises and free public parking outside of the property.  
There is also a ping pong table for guests to enjoy.

Each one of the aprt has: 1 double bedroom with air-condition, window no balcony, kitchenette, with small dining area, 1 sofa bed, small patio/veranda in front, 1 wc/shower  
  
•First floor: Small entrance with sofa, dining area, living room, kitchen, 2 double bedrooms with window no balconies with air-condition, 2 single bedrooms with air condition and windows no balcony, 1 WC/bathroom, 1 WC/ Shower  
  
Important notice: as you can see in the rates, after the 9th guest there is an extra charge per day per person.  
  
To ensure a stress-free holiday experience, we will send you a link to our GuestGuide4u approximately two weeks prior to your arrival. This guide will include many details for the house, recommendations for local activities in Crete, suggested restaurants, and other helpful travel information.

1\. You can arrive at your accommodation after 15:00 on the Arrival Date of your holiday and you must leave by 11:00 on the Departure Date. But in any case if you wish to arrive earlier or depart later than the mentioned hours feel free to contact us and we will fulfill your request if the villa is available with no extra cost. If your arrival will be delayed, you must contact us so that alternative arrangements can be made. If you fail to do so you may not be able to gain access to the Property. If you fail to arrive by midday on the day after the Arrival Date and you have not contacted us, we may treat the booking as having been cancelled by you.  
  
2\. People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not enter the property or stay overnight in the property. Any kind of Party for more than the people staying in the property must be informed prior booking the villa, which in some cases it might not be accepted and if accepted extra charge might apply. In case you do so, we can refuse to hand over the Property to you, or can require you to leave. We will treat any of these circumstances as a cancelation of the booking by you and we shall be under no obligation to refund you for any fees already paid to us  
in those circumstances. Any refund will be at our sole discretion  
  
3\. Every effort has been made to ensure that you have an enjoyable and memorable holiday. If however, you have any cause for complaint it is important that action is taken as soon as possible. It is essential that you contact us if any problem arises so that it can be speedily resolved. It is often extremely difficult (and sometimes impossible) for us to resolve difficulties properly unless we are promptly notified. In particular, complaints of a transient nature(example: electric power issues, warm water is out etc.) cannot possibly be investigated unless you will let us know as soon as possible whilst you are in residence.   
Also after staying in the property for 48 hours and we have not received any message or email from you about any broken facilities/amenities in the property, we will hold the guest responsible for any damages caused and must be paid or replaced by the guest on spot.   
  
4\. Smoking is Not allowed in the properties so we request all of our guests not to smoke in the properties   
but to smoke outside on the exterior areas such us by swimming pools, balconies, verandas, patios or terrace  
  
5\. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. Cleaning and linnen change is done every 3/4 days.  
In case you wish for the villa to be cleaned more often, it’s possible for an extra charge.  
  
6\. Hot Tub: No children under the age of 5 permitted in hot tubs at any time without adult supervision. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. Our housekeepers drain, sanitize, refill and replenish chemicals in all tubs prior to your arrival therefore it may not be warm until later that evening.  
  
7\. Pool: The pool is not covered, built to the standards of the Greek Tourism Organization EOT. Parents have full responsibility for supervision of their minor children No children under the age of 12 permitted the pool at any time without adult supervision. When using the pool, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. Fenced pool is included in the price  
  
8\. Tenants agree to respect the property. In case of any damage that will be made, the tenants will have to pay the cost on the spot and before leaving the villa  
  
9\. The owner agrees to provide a clean home, cleaned just before the arrival of tenants.  
Cleaning is done by us, changing towels and bed linen is included in the price.  
  
11\. The lead guest (the oldest member of the group) must be at least 21 years old.  
  
12\. Please respect the quiet hours from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM and from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

#### Home away from home

This home is immaculately maintained by a family that will host you as if you were their family too. It is spacious and you will find everything you would ever want or need in your own home. The pool is huge and the grounds and gardens are so beautifully maintained that you will think you are in paradise. There is a private beach you can swim at also. You cannot ask for a better, more inviting home to have your family reunion or get together at!!!

#### Crystal clear water and sea view!

Excellent stay for three families and grandparents. Three small apartments on ground floor (one double bedone single bed per appartment, one also with sofa bed). Two doubles and two singles on first floor. All rooms with air condition.The small (rocky) beach right below the house has amazingly clear waters, and the pool was great for our kids (7-11 years.). Only 100m to a great taverna (Mimi’s). Also near a really nice sandy beach with a beach bar/restaurant.From first floor, the ocean view is amazing, and we ate on the terrass several nights, at sunset. And the garden is beautifully kept.Only a few and minor ”complaints”. The family kitchen on the first floor is on the smaller side, and there is no fridge next to bbq area (a bit of a hassle to run up and down to fetch cold beverages). Also you need a car to get to a grocery store. But overall a wonderful stay, including hospitality from Petros and Katerina, and the two very cute ”house” cats (loved by the kids).

#### Beautiful family vacation 

We all had a wonderful time on our family vacation. The house was very comfortable and clean. The outdoor spaces of this villa are beautiful beyond words. The owners of the home were very nice and welcoming! Katrina even gifted us a few of her pictures which she painted. There are three tavernas within walking distance. They were also awesome! We definitely recommend this experience! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Offered everything we were looking for! Walking distance to many tavernas, lots of outdoor gathering spaces, 3 apts (2 beds each) and a main house with 4 more bedrooms provided opportunities to recharge energy for introverts. Pool and grounds amazing, and only a few feet to an incredible private beach cove. Management is superior—responsive and flexible! Helped us arrange grocery delivery before we arrived, a spectacular Chef created dinner on site, even charcoal provided for the outdoor kitchen. 7 min to large grocery store but definitely away from it all. We had 13 people ranging from 4-79 years, and everyone was thrilled. Imagine! Katerina has a special place here and has created something beautiful to share! Thank you!

#### Family get together

We couldn’t have found a better spot and will definitely return. The house and grounds are spacious, with many lovely areas to seat the whole group.We loved the bbq area and seating and the big balcony has stunning views over the sea and mountains. The beach was clean with crystal clear water and we had other beaches within walking distance. There are three tavernas within a five minute walk along a rarely used side road. We were concerned that the proximity to the main road might be sn issue, but it couldn’t be heard inside the property abd it actually made access to shops and the airports very straightforward.

#### In die Jahre gekommene Villa

Es ist ein schönes Haus und Grundstück, besonders der Garten. Die Lage ist aber etwas schwierig, direkt an der Autobahn ist der Lautstärkepegel hoch. Dafür aber sehr nahe an Rethymnon. Die meisten schönen Sandstrände sind nur mit dem Auto erreichbar. Der zugehörige Strand ist leider auch eher schwer begehbar (steinige, kaputte Treppe, keine Geländer..) und so nicht kinderfreundlich. Leider lässt der allgemeine Zustand des Hauses zu wünschen übrig: Wir hatten immer wieder kaltes Wasser beim Duschen weil der Boiler nicht recht funktionierte. Besonders die Appartements waren in keinem guten Zustand, inkl. Schimmel in einem Badezimmer. Das Mobiliar ist zusammengewürfelt, alt und teilweise unvollständig (z.B. fehlende Birnen in Lampen). Zudem hatten wir einen Wasserschaden, der aber gleich behoben wurde. Die Appartements sind auch nicht mit dem Haupthaus verbunden. Für uns am schwerwiegendsten war die Tatsache, dass es als familienfreundlich ausgeschrieben wurde aber nicht war. Der Zugang zum Meer ist gefährlich und vor allem der Pool war ungesichert (das Foto online liess aber anderes vermuten). Darauf hingewiesen hat der Vermieter dann zwar ein Geländer montiert (das er offensichtlich zuvor schon mehrmals genutzt hatte) wollte aber ganze 150 Euro dafür, zusätzlich zu der schon hohen Miete. Er liess auch nicht mit sich reden, als wir ihn darauf ansprachen. Trotz allem waren es schöne Ferien auf Kreta.

#### A lovely villa near Rethymno

A clean modern villa overlooking the sea with plenty of space in the large grounds to relax, swim in the pool or barbecue in the outside kitchen. A few metres from the gardens is a short path to a small pebble beach with crystal clear water to swim and snorkel. The villa is separated into one large apartment in the first floor and three smaller ones at ground level with direct access to the garden pool and sea! There is a road behind and not far the villa but you can’t hear the traffic from the front at all and it was not a problem - it also meant an easy drive to the beautiful town of Rethymno, though there are at three great restaurants within easy walking distance. Katerina and her family were lovely and ensured we were very well looked after. A great place, great value and stunning views!

#### Sehr gelungener Urlaub

Alles, von dem ersten Kontakt mit Manos bis zum Check-out mit dem Eigner hat bestens funktioniert. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett, die Lage traumhaft. Das Haus hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen. Gerne kommen wir wieder !

God beliggenhed lige ned til dejlig stenstrand (husk badesko). Ligger tæt på den store vej. Det er praktisk men giver også lidt trafikstøj. Villaen er delt op i 4 boenheder: 3 små nedenunder og en stor ovenpå.

#### Perfect stay for the entire family

#### The perfect house for a family reunion

Our three families with 15 people stayed at this wonderful villa in August 2019 - and it was absolutely the perfect place in every possible way! The villa accommodated all of us comfortably, providing plenty of room for all of us to hang out together while allowing privacy for the three couples in the downstairs units. The villa is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes and all the necessary kitchen utensils and more. It provides several large dining areas and many places to hang out, including the pool area, the gazebo and the beach. The owner took very good care of us and was super accommodating. We can't wait to come back again! This villa is truly magnificent!

#### Beautiful villa with the sea on doorsteps

The treatment by Mr. Manos while booking the Villa was exceptional and he has responded to all our special requests by 100 percent. The Villa is perfect for several families who want to stay with maximum privacy at times, but spend also some time together, the garden is beautiful and well maintained and the sea beach is just a minute down the steps. The location is perfect and the connections to restaurants are available by foot and few minutes by car to the nearest shops. The owners are very hospitable and we enjoyed the paintings of Ms. Katerina, as well as her traditional Cretan dishes that was nice surprise for us.
