It is the last part of the long beach of the Bay of Rethymno and the beach of the area is sandy, quite calm and less noisy than the rest beaches of Rethymnon. Between Pigianos Kambos and Stavromenos, you can swim and snorkel in the numerous rocky small coves. Moreover, in Pigianos Kambos you might have the chance to see the protected nests of sea turtles, laying their eggs on the sandy beach. The beach is also ideal for sunbathing, swimming and water sports! Enjoy the well known greek sun and sea all day long! The area is special specifically for another reason too: its has a variety of shops such as a super market, a bakery and a pharmacy, that are within hand’s reach, making ideal for a car free holiday! You can taste the well known traditional Cretan and Mediterranean cuisine in the local tavernas and restaurants, have your coffee in one of the many beach bars on the coast or go for a drink in one of the small bars. Aug 23, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Amazing Villa We stayed her in early August 23' and have to say its one of the best villa's we have ever stayed in. The villa has great views with olive trees all around and the sea in the background. Its pretty new, probably just a couple of years old and everything is done really well. The outside space is great and really peaceful and all the rooms inside are really well appointed. The villa is spotlessly clean and was cleaned twice during or 10 day stay. The pool guys came in every morning to clean the pool. The villa is really well equipped, there is everything you could need provided. The local team were great and on hand for anything we needed. The one thing I would say is that a car is a must. The nearest restaurants are about a 25 minute walk as well as the shops and supermarkets etc. We had a lovely holiday here and will definitely be back. ##### Jason L. The whole place was spotlessly clean, the pool guys came every day so the pool was also fabulous - all of the time. The welcome basket was much appreciated. The kitchen is well kitted out with everything you need including a coffee machine. We absolutely loved everything about it. Apart from a very short 5 minute wait to get in to the villa - it couldn't have been any better. If we return to Crete, we will definitely stay here again - it really is 5 star! ##### Tara G.
