Set within an impressive 4-acre estate, Aelia Residence offers an expansive 850m² lawn area, ideal for families and unique gatherings. This unique home allows guests to relax while cherishing mesmerising views and unforgettable sunsets. Revel in the private heated (with extra fee) 100m² swimming pool with a depth of 1.50 meters, embellished with a 10m² children’s pool (0.5m deep) for family-friendly enjoyment. Unwind on luxury sun loungers, rinse off in the outdoor shower, and enjoy alfresco dining at the fully equipped BBQ area, with glass doors & remote-controlled cover. There is a HDTV 60", and a fully equipped-kitchen with a gas grill, refrigerator, oven & dishwasher. A six-seater heated spa whirlpool invites guests to indulge in open-air relaxation also featuring aromatherapy, phototherapy & waterfall. There is also a bathroom with shower cabin & WC next to the spa whirlpool. \*The whole outdoor area is fenced and has a private entrance, offering 100% privacy to our guests.

Upon entering Aelia Residence, you are welcomed by a spacious, neutral-toned living area that exudes warmth and sophistication. This main living space includes a cozy open fireplace and a 50” flat-screen TV, creating the perfect ambiance for relaxation. Enjoy sophisticated culinary moments with your loved ones with a warm, inviting meal in the kitchen and relax by the dining area for memorable family meals. The villa is designed to host up to 15 guests total - 12 in real beds, two in sofa beds (located one in each bedroom of the lower floor), and one additional guest can sleep on the home cinema sofa. All bedrooms in all floors feature a 32’ TV, each.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt von der Anreise bis zur Abreise sehr genossen. Die Anlage ist sehr großzügig gestaltet, sehr sauber und wird mehrmals in der Woche gepflegt. Es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Wir waren altersmäßig von 8 bis fast 73 Jahren aufgestellt und allen hat es sehr gut gefallen. Nicht einmal die beiden Kinder (beide 8 Jahre alt) haben sich gestritten. Sehr nett war auch, dass wir ein kleines Abschiedsgeschenk erhielten. Wir empfehlen diese Anlage auf jeden Fall gerne weiter. Vielen Dank.

#### Tolle Villa mit großartiger Betreuung

Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit. In der Villa war alles vorhanden, wie versprochen. Die Sauna war etwas klein und die Sportgeräte etwas alt, ansonsten war aber alles prima - insbesondere Pool und Poolhaus mit Grill/Küche/ Whirlpool… luden zum Verweilen und Genießen ein. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die überaus freundliche Betreuung vor Ort. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und verabschiedet. Es wurden zwei komplette Reinigungen des Hauses angeboten und zum Abschied erhielten wir noch Gebäck. Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert!!

#### Best Villa we have ever stayed in.

The villa was excellent, very well equipped, very clean and beautifully appointed. We lived in the garden 95% of the time and only used the outside kitchen as it was so well equipped. The hosts were very accommodating and really helpful. Lovely welcome basket of fruit, milk, bread, juice and there own freshly laid eggs. An Absolutely Amazing villa to stay in and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

#### Amazing environment and facilities

We had an amazing stay the week we were on vacation. The house itself, the surrounding facilities, the cleaning and everything else related were just amazing. If we ever had any questions, we would get an answer from the staff within minutes, and they were always very helpful. We spent most of the time in the outdoor kitchen area, and pool area. It was an absolutely great idea to have an outside area right next to the pool, where you had everything you needed. For that particular reason, we never used the indoor kitchen once, as everything was well in order outside.

#### Perfekt forårs ferie

Super bolig , med dejligt ude område. God beliggenhed, alle nødvendige faciliteter og lidt ekstra. Ejerne er ekstremt venlige og meget opmærksomme , god hygiejne, rengøring og effektive til at løse evt. fejl og mangler hurtigt. Det perfekte hus til en uge med hygge og afslapning . Eneste lille minus var at der blev bygget ny bolig ved siden af, som støjede ind imellem. Så 4,5 stjerner for det hele👍

#### Wonderful villa with all amenities

We have just come back from a 3 week stay at this villa. The villa was beautifully clean and well-equipped. The outdoor kitchen and seating area were perfect for alfresco living by the pool. The owners were very hospitable, helpful and kind. The villa was well-located for the nearby town of Rethymno and several beaches.

#### A beautiful oasis on Crete

Our family (8) just finished a Wonderfull holiday at Villa Aelia in Skaletta, Crete. It was an outstanding experience. What really stood out was: - the spacious villa with nice bedrooms, bathrooms and facilities, like the fitness room and the pool table; - the wonderfull outside living space, where we spend most of our time: great kitchen, superb pool area and jacuzzi, nice sun beds and facilities - hygiëne and cleaning of both the villa and the outside area - the service and friendlyness of the family owners, who helped us find restaurants, organized our covid-testing and reacted instantly when we had an issue with one of the showers (on a Sunday!). The overall experience was just great. We wish lots more families the same experience we had. Xander (NL)

#### A Greek Oasis!

What a lovely time we had staying in this beautiful home! We were a party of 9 (3 adults, 5 teenagers and one child). It is very well appointed, and had everything we needed to make it an easy and peaceful stay. It was truly our oasis after fun daily trips to surrounding towns and beaches (and with the heat on some days, an oasis is exactly what you need). The home has so many small details that were well thought out, like essentials in the fridge upon arrival, body washes/shampoos, laundry soap etc. The outdoor space is amazing, and we spent a lot of time lounging in the shade and making big family dinners in the outdoor kitchen area. The communication and efficiency of our hosts were top notch, they were absolutely available at every turn to help, and constantly checking in to make sure we didn't need anything. The cleaning crew was fantastic and brought us fresh veggies, eggs and cookies (while making sure that we had a lovely clean space so we felt like we had a luxurious and relaxing holiday). Thank you so much to all of our hosts for making sure everything was perfect, we hope to be back one day soon!

#### Perfect vacation in Villa Aelia

Our vacation in Villa Aelia was more than perfect. The Villa is a dream. We found everything you can imagine to have a nice holiday. We booked this villa because of its facilities indoor and outdoor (pool table, sauna, fitness room, massage room, huge pool, outdoor kitchen, jacuzzi) and because of its privacy. We wouldn't disappointed. Especially the outdoor area is outstanding. We are pretty sure (the private chef agreed on us), that you won't find a Villa in crete which offers a comparable outdoor area. We loved it to sit at the pool and to have a barbeque. Everthing is clean and in a very good shape. Valia made the booking process very easy for us and answered all of our questions very fast. She gave us very good recommendations. We had a private chef for breakfast and dinner, which Valia recommended us as well. The private chef was really good and so friendly. We loved to eat his dishes and to listen to his discriptions of the food, which he prepared for us. A special thank you goes to the owner family. They welcomend us more than friendly, showed us everthing, although we were a little bit late, supplied us with fresh eggs and fresh vegetables, cleaned the house and had a barbeque with us. It was always easy to communicate with them. If we come back to crete, we will definitely stay again in Villa Aelia. Once again thank you to Valia, Kostas, Katerian, Dimitris and Vasili. You made us a perfect vacation.

#### Exceptional villa in beautiful surroundings

We have just returned from a blissful week at Villa Aelia and I still cannot stop thinking about how incredible this place really is. Another review had written that the photos just don't do it justice and that really is the case! The owner Dimitris was there to great us on arrival and showed us around the villa and grounds. We were all completely taken aback at how immaculate and beautiful every aspect was. It is also quite a lot larger than it looks online. They have really thought through every high spec detail of this property and we couldn't wish for anything more. We spent most of our time by the pool and within the outdoor living area. The outdoor kitchen is fully self sufficient and we really didn't need to use the inside kitchen at all! The retractable roof was perfect during the evening to star gaze with cold glass of wine in hand (followed by Raki of course). Dimitris and his family were so welcoming. From arriving to a beautiful fruit bowl, fresh eggs, wine and of course their home grown olive oil which we devoured with every meal, to receiving a home cooked Moussaka halfway through which was unbelievably tasty and lasted us over 3 meals. Also a very generous leaving gift of their olive oil to take home with us, we truly felt very spoilt and well looked after. All of the bedrooms have memory foam mattresses, crisp linen and electric shutters which ensured a good nights sleep, not to mention the huge amount of storage to hide away all of our belongings. Downstairs in the basement is a huge living area with full size pool table, massage room, gym and playroom (plus another large bedroom). This was a real sanctuary away from the heat where our kids could wind down after a fun packed day in the sun. We will really miss Villa Aelia and would return again in a heartbeat. Hopefully next year! A huge thank you to Dimitris and his family and also to Valia who made the whole booking process so easy and gave us the best recommendations. Until next time......

#### Fabulous villa, fantastic holiday!

The villa is set a fantastic location, with super views of the countryside. The outdoor room was a huge hit with everyone and perfect day and night. The villa is well equipped and the pool, jacuzzi and gym were perfect to ensure everyone had a brilliant time. We were well looked after during the booking process and spoiled by Katerina and her family during our stay. The villa is well located for exploring whether locally or further afield, including to the south side of the island. It was hard not to stay where we were though! One nice surprise was the breeze on the hotter days. Overall, we couldn't have enjoyed our time any more and hopefully one day we'll be back! Thanks again!

#### Villa Aelia is a beautiful, clean and relatively new villa 15 minutes away from Rethymno.

We are a family of six which includes 3 teenagers so demands are high. Not one of us could fault the villa and we all had a lovely time relaxing around the pool. The outdoor living area which includes a fully fitted kitchen plus bbq was a great hit with us all. Bedrooms and bathrooms were all very clean and decorated to a high standard. The villa itself is only 15 minutes from Rethymno which is lovely To visit day and night for shopping and eating. Panormos, only 10 minutes away is a charming fishing village with numerous restaurants to visit. Dimitri and Katerina our hosts were most hospitable and provided fresh eggs plus a traditional Greek meal, all very much appreciated. I can highly recommend Villa Aelia.

#### Beautiful villa with very nice owners and good support throughout the whole holiday

After we had found this beautiful villa we hoped that the villa would come close to what the pictures on the Internet have shown/offered. After the booking and payments went smooth we were in very good hands from the owners and the agent. They took care of everything and supported us in any questions we had. After we had arrived in Heraklion in the morning the owners were very flexible and offered us to come a little earlier because they knew we had two small childred with us, which were exausted after getting up early and the hot weather. We were kindly welcomed and shown around in the villa. Everything was explained to us in detail. On first sight you already saw the villa was in very good shape and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well in them. Most of the time we spend outside in the pool area or the outdoor kitchen. Towels and bed sheets were also changed regularly. Everything you needed to cook was available and clean. Also when we arrived we received fresh fruits and olive oil. Throughout our two weeks at the villa the owners also had brought some cookies and other tasty things. They really took good care of us. We had a private chef twice which we booked after he was recommended to us by the agent. We all agreed that this was worth it. The food was coming from local farmers and was hand selected. The cook and his two helpers did a great job and we very much enjoyed the food and the evenings. Looking forward to hopefully come to this beautiful place again. I would give 10 stars if I could. Thank you so much to everybody (especially the owners family) who made this a wonderful and unforgettable vacation!

#### The Villa Aelia is nothing short of exceptional!

We took a family holiday and stayed here mid May. The brochure pictures were tantalising and our expectations were high but on arrival I think it was clear that the pictures understated just how amazing this Villa is. We were greeted by Katerina and Dimitris who were wonderful hosts. More about them later. The Villa has just about everything you can ask for and more than you would expect. The indoor space is plentiful, the kitchen has everything you require. The games room and home cinema kept us entertained late into the evenings and all the bedrooms were of an extremely high standard. What we found a nice touch to the villa was the thought put into making everything convenient. There were toilets and showers located throughout the villa and outdoor space. These facilities were also spacious and of high standard. The games room also had a small kitchenette, which although we didn’t make use of, it was clear how useful that could be if there were younger children at the villa. As other reviews have stated, the outdoor space is where we spent most of the time. It has a fully functioning kitchen and a place to eat and relax and apart from the pool side, was the main gathering point for the family to all get together. It’s also worth mentioning that some of Cretes top attractions are accessible from the villa via a car. Rethymno has a beautiful old town and harbour which is well worth exploring and only 15 minutes from the villa. There are also plenty of nearby places to buy food and we chanced upon a very good bakery I think somewhere in Skaleta. Back to the hosts. We had a wonderful greeting on our arrival. They were both friendly, knowledgable and helpful. At no point did we feel we couldn’t approach them or ask for advice on places to go. Dimitris resolved a minor issue very quickly and Katerina generously offered up some home cooked dishes during our stay. For me the hosts can make a difference to your stay and these personal touches only enhanced it. So thank you to you both. Overall I found myself in a difficult position when writing the review. A small part of me wants to keep this villa a secret so not many people know about it. But overwhelmingly, I want everyone to know what a great place this is and endorse this villa as much as I can. We didn’t have enough time to see all of what Crete has to offer so we will be returning in the near future and at the top of our list would be come come back to this villa.

#### What a vacation!

This is a villa of our dreams! Beautiful and well kept. And the surroundings! It is not so often you have a view to sea, mountains, garden and pool all together. We were very well taking care of before our stay by Valia; getting a lot of hints and help with the car renting etc. Whatever requests or minor issues we had during the stay were taken care of smoothly and efficiently by Dimitris & co. And we also warmly welcomed the fresh eggs, pastries, olive oil and traditionally cooked lamb that we were lucky to receive. End of April to beginning of May is a perfect time to avoid the crowds and enjoy a lot of greenery and flowering. We enjoyed the sunbathe, swimming, jacuzzi, walks and cycling. Highly recommend to rent a car to see more attractions. This company of 7 adults from twenties to their fifties loved our stay and highly recommend this villa. Hope to come back some day!

#### Excellent house - lot's of luxury.

We visited this fantastic house two families (4 children and 5 adults) in october 2018 and it was great. Extremly spacious and lot's of luxury and every detail in this house is carried out superbly. The pool house with hot tub was very popular among the kids combined with the out door pool. The house looks good when you see the pictures - but nevertheless it was stunning to arrive and do the first tour arround the house. Our hosts Katarina and Dimitris were great and very attentive. Superb villa with luxurious facilities and amazing hosts in Katarina and Dimitris. Just a wonderful house with an added house ( the pool house) included. With 3 teenagers and a 10 year old with us, there was so much for everyone to do (pool table, PS4, hot tub as well as excellent Wi-fi) we rarely left the property. Our hosts were incredibly kind to keep us supplied in fresh eggs, cakes and even a wonderful dinner ready to go one evening. We travel a lot on business and this is the quality of a luxury boutique hotel... just for us Thank you Katarina and Dimitris and wish you a successful seasons rentals... you deserve it!
