Garbage piles outside. Very little money if any put into facilities. The room did not look or have a clean feel to it. For the money spent it was a disappointing stay.

Not Again...
This hotel was very outdated, however, the housekeeping crew was exceptional. They tended to all our needs with a pleasant smile. I will not be staying at this hotel again. Location was in walking distance from Virgina street. But I would not walk that area after dark.
Nice clean beds, service not so good. Carpeting filthy made everything black, socks shoes. Comfy beds and bed clothing smelled clean and crisp. Not so nice part of town, grounds very well kept.
I had booked three nights for myself and family at the hotel to attend the Reno Air races. On Friday night when we arrived, we found out that our booking had "accidentally" been cancelled due to an employee error. It took about one hour for them to find us a room, but they said that we had to change to a different room the next day. Huge inconvenience for us and my wife had to stay behind to deal with this and missed a day at the races. We were moved from a fairly decent room where we stayed the first night, to a very poor room on the southside with very noisy traffic outside. Door was not working properly, furniture drawers did not open and looked like they were from the 1960s, faucet had come loose and the room had an old small "box" TV - not a flat screen. Hotel "erronously" put 6 different temporary charges on my card adding up to more than $ 1,000, which maxed out one of my credit cards as to its limit. Manager was not reachable and none of the front counter personnel could fix this or were authorized to do this. Very frustrating experience to say the least. I paid $ 90 per night in a hotel that provided service that could be expected at a $ 30.00 per night motel. Run, don't walk away from this place! I stay at hotels for about 20-25 nights per year and I do not ever recall this lack of care or service from any previous place I have stayed at.
Barely any customer service. Our family of 5 needed a nice place to stay for one night for the Air Races. Granted, it was only one night but upon arriving we were greeted by the homeless displaying inappropriate pda. Had to make our kids look the other way. Was not told about the amenities like wifi, and breakfast hours. Hiked the stairs to the 4th floor as the elevator was not pleasant at all. Room was small with full-sized beds, not Queen. Barely any space to place the roll away bed. Freeway could be heard clear as day and louder than the tv which is stationary and did not move. Beds rock hard, and the roll away bed had barely any padding to where you could feel the springs sticking through. The only thing decent is the price, and the only reason why we chose the hotel. I've stayed at other hotels at the same price and had a better stay. Oh and WIFI is NOT secure
My stay was very nice . A bit busy in the start of my business trip but it calmed down later . I had a very pleasant trip to Reno and Sparks . It was a little hectic around town because of some road construction and all the folks going to Burning Man . Overall a very relaxing trip .
Dirty hotel and everything is broken door wasn't shutting all the way place is right next to noisy freeway

Servicible
Pretty average motel, good for the price. Near town center, just off I-80. Pool looked clean and inviting, didn't have time to use it. No fridge or microwave! Staff was friendly and knew area well.
Desk chair falling apart
Noisy
Not great parking
Window air units not very efficient
Towels small and rough
To expensive for what you get/to expensive
Next time I will just drive the extra 4 hours home, waste of money.
Desk clerks couldn't even tell where a grocery store or restaurant was
Hotel staff wasn't welcoming or very hospitable. Carpet in the room was disgusting, Stains on the chairs in the room that I don't even want to know how they got there. The place is in need of a complete makeover.
The hotel was all booked but the manager found a smoking room that had just had a cancellation so I took it. That was nice of him.
I don't need much comfort, mostly a warm shower. Unfortunately, this particular shower could not keep hot water up the shower head, only at the faucet, so I showered in lukewarm water.
Overall, it was just another cheap hotel, but for $200 a night, I would have expected hot water to work and not so run-down looking room.

The room we stayed in was on the interstate side of the hotel and you could hear the traffic. I would stay again as it was very easy to get to airport and easy to get to the areas I needed to go to, however I would request a room on the side near the pool.
Hotels close to the freeway close to downtown but other than that the hotel was old and very dirty elevators smell like P stairs where falling apart and the hotel employees we're horrible at the job
