"The location is handy because it is aprox 10 to 15 minutes from the airport and the staff is kind however the property lack of hygiene the room was very smelly, it would help to do some good wall cleaning and painting a general hygiene cleaning within the property. It could have been cleaner and it could have smelled better. It is challenging to spend a night in a room that is smelly of body odor. The air condition does not help with this."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Remolino?
The best area to stay in Remolino is within the town centre, particularly around the main square, known as Parque Central.

This central area is the heart of Remolino, where you'll find most of the local activity and amenities. The Parque Central is a pleasant, tree-lined square surrounded by historic-style buildings, including the town's church. It's a compact and walkable area, making it easy to get around on foot.

For couples looking for a relaxed and authentic experience, staying near Parque Central is ideal. You'll be close to local eateries serving traditional Colombian food and have easy access to the Magdalena River, which is a focal point for the town. It's a great spot to observe daily life and enjoy the local culture.

Solo travellers will also appreciate the convenience of the town centre. It offers a friendly feel with opportunities to interact with locals and experience the rhythm of the town.
When is the best time to go to Remolino?
The best time to visit Remolino, Magdalena, Colombia is during the dry season, which typically runs from December to April.

During these months, you'll experience sunny days and lower humidity, making it ideal for exploring the town and its surroundings. The Magdalena River is also at a more predictable level, which is excellent for boat excursions and enjoying the riverfront. This period is particularly good for couples looking for pleasant weather for walks along the river or enjoying outdoor dining.

While the wet season (May to November) can bring lush landscapes, it also means higher humidity and more frequent rainfall, which might disrupt outdoor plans.
