Great Weekend Stay

We were in town for a lacrosse tournament and the accommodations couldn't have been nicer. The house was immaculately clean and spacious. It suited our needs perfectly. It was so nice to come back to Carl Jacks after a hot long day at fields.

Long weekend stay for me, my two grown kids and my mother-in-law. There was not one thing I could say was wrong with our stay…the home is gorgeous, spacious and absolutely immaculate! The location is perfect…walking distance to so much and short drives to everything else, and we were visited by four beautiful buck almost every evening and morning! Hosts were quick to respond and made the entire process simple and had lots of suggestions and tips for our stay! 10/10, highly recommend

Sisters Getaway

An awesome stay in a quiet neighborhood, and the house had everything we needed. We really appreciated the amenities of the house, such as the beach chairs, and the screened in deck to hang out. Beach, groceries and shopping were all easily accessible. Mike kept in touch during our stay and lived right next store if we needed anything (we didn’t but it was nice to know that Mike was accessible). We will certainly stay there again in the future.

Carl Jack’s Rehoboth Beach

The property that we stayed at, Carl Jack’s was just what we all needed as a family. The property was clean, cozy, and very peaceful.The property was also located in the middle of all of the fun things to do in Rehoboth Beach. I would definitely recommend this property to my family and friends. The host also made it very easy for the check-in checkout process and was very friendly.

PERFECT LOCATION

CarlJacks's is the perfect location for a visit to Rehoboth Beach, DE - with the historical town of Lewes only a 10 minute drive to the right and Rehoboth shopping and beach only 4 miles to the left, my friends and I found so much to see and explore. We also found time to drive to Assateague Natl Park (wild horses) and the town of Berlin in Maryland - both only an hour's drive from our VRBO rental.The three bedroom house itself was warm and inviting, new and beautifully done, everything needed was at our fingertips. Our favorite room was the screened-in deck where we daily found ourselves having morning coffee and evening cocktails. Surrounded by beautiful plants and foliage, observing vibrantly colored cardinals and deer, this is a very relaxing setting for catching up and sharing with friends.On recommendation, we enjoyed great nearby restaurants including Summer House, Stations of the Kings (bonus gift and floral offerings), and 1776 Steakhouse with a piano player - each was reasonably priced and quite delicious!Our hosts, Mike and Diane, are fantastic - very available with correspondence/rental needs, and local suggestions on sights, directions, the nearby ferry - very helpful in all areas. My friends and I already know CarlJack's in Rehoboth is a home we will definitely plan on revisiting!

Labor Day Weekend Family Trip

We had a lovely vacation at Captain Jack’s. The house is newer and extremely clean. I am a clean freak, and this place passed my inspection. The house is conveniently located near the Tanger Outlets, Rehobath Beach Boardwalk, great restaurants and more! We loved Lewes Beach because it is a bit less crowded, although we enjoyed all the surrounding beaches. Overall great place to stay!

Home away from home

We found this house last minute after Hurricane Debby derailed our original vacation plans. The house was beautiful, better than the desription. Spotless when we arrived. Check in was super easy and the owner was so nice to work with. He even gave us great restaurant and beach recommendations. Just a short drive to multiple beaches and Rehoboth boardwalk. Dunkin within a 5 minute walk. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Delaware!

Perfect weekend stay!

We were there for a lacrosse tournament- the house is impeccable - unbelievably clean and plenty of space for 3 adults and 3 kids. We loved the screened in porch and easy access to stores and restaurants. We will be back!

Perfect Vacation Spot

We absolutely loved our stay at “Carl Jacks” in Rehobeth! The location to local spots (food, activities, shopping, etc) was perfect! Such a quick drive to the beach/boardwalk and just about anywhere we wanted to go. The home was beautiful and exceeded our expectations - clean, spacious, and felt like home! Communication with owners was easy and always quick, which helped make our travels even easier. We especially appreciated the added touch of recommendations for our stay. Absolutely would recommend and hope to be back one day!

We are very impressed with Carl Jack’s! Very clean, amenities are complete. Elegant decor. Beds are comfortable. The open layout is great for socialization and rooms offer privacy. Our family group of parents and young adults had a wonderful stay in this conveniently located property! We were close to the beaches, close to the ferry (for our day trip to Cape May!), and easy drive to shopping/restaurants. Host was easy to reach and responsive! We really enjoyed our visit. The house is really charming and extremely clean. If you drive to Rehoboth Beach, you have about a 20-minute drive. The house is also very close to Lewes. Lots of food options and Acme very near by. Hope to stay again!

Excellent stay

We had a great stay at Carl Jacks. Mike was a great host and responded quickly to our questions. The house is very nice and has everything you need. We enjoyed the screened in porch in particular. It was also great to have access to beach chairs and umbrellas. It's a different beach experience to stay a few miles away from the actual beach, but overall it was not an issue. One advantage is that it's halfway between Rehoboth and Cape Henlopen State Park. If going into Rehoboth, parking at Deauville beach was easy and plentiful during the week (apparently it's much busier on weekends). Same with Herrington Point in Cape Henlopen State Park. We really enjoyed this beach in particular. There's plenty of parking, it's a very chill vibe, and dogs are allowed. No concession stand, but we really enjoyed it. We were able to find parking in Rehoboth in the evenings when we went down for dinner, and it's not too expensive. Matt's Fish Camp and Fin's nearby to Carl Jacks both have oyster happy hours as well. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay at Carl Jacks.

Lax Tournament Stay

This was a great place that balances convenience and access to shopping, beaches, and travel to lax tournament fields. Mike was very accommodating with check in/out and was easy to communicate with. Probably one of the cleanest places we ever stayed and we have travel extensively. The bedrooms are large and could accommodate 6 adults. The grill and kitchen was great and easy to use. TVs are in every room with the ability to add your own accounts. The only negative which is not that big of a deal was the main TV still leveraged an Xfinity box. This should not be required and could be removed in favor of the App. Without the TV remote I was unable to add my own apps…could be user error though. Be prepared for heavy traffic. It’s annoying but unavoidable. A drive to Bethany beach is worth it. As is the seafood joint on the bayside. Net Net highly recommended.

Awesome Place to Stay

The property was close to Route 1 so it was convenient to get to everything in Rehobeth and it was walking distant to the nearby shopping center. Although it was close to Rt1 the neighborhood was very quiet. The space was open which was nice for hanging out (it rained most of our stay) and the bedrooms were a great size. Loved how it had a screened porch that also lead to an open deck area-the best of both worlds. The owner was quick in responding to us and very helpful. We would definitely rent this home again if we come back to the area!

Comfortable, clean and well managed

Our family of four with two adult children stayed for three nights in this well maintained and comfortable house. The location is very convenient for those who want to visit Cape Henlopen and Lewes as well as Rehoboth. It was great to have beach chairs and umbrellas available. We enjoyed the new grill one night and found the kitchen well equipped. Everything worked well and we would be pleased to return.

Spacious, clean, and everything

We absolutely loved the energy as soon as we walked in. The space between living room and the kitchen along teh dining room IS P E R F E C T. The only privacy is the hallway to the bedrooms. That's it. Just so perfect where we all can see each other. The setting where we did the grill was so beautiful and relaxing! Facing the trees in the back with a view of long open field to some houses far end. The feels and everything were very peaceful. Then we get to drive to get our necessities - within a turn to everything we needed. And the drive to the boardwalk - not too bad. 20 minutes at most. The house itself, is very new and clean. The host, oh my very generous and kind, and communicative. The pictures you see perfect describe what we experienced. I know that for sure, next guests who come by will enjoy this as we did. Thank you!! Until next time, we know where to rent out!
