Mike was a great host and responded quickly to our questions. The house is very nice and has everything you need. We enjoyed the screened in porch in particular. It was also great to have access to beach chairs and umbrellas. It's a different beach experience to stay a few miles away from the actual beach, but overall it was not an issue. One advantage is that it's halfway between Rehoboth and Cape Henlopen State Park. If going into Rehoboth, parking at Deauville beach was easy and plentiful during the week (apparently it's much busier on weekends). Same with Herrington Point in Cape Henlopen State Park. We really enjoyed this beach in particular. There's plenty of parking, it's a very chill vibe, and dogs are allowed. No concession stand, but we really enjoyed it. We were able to find parking in Rehoboth in the evenings when we went down for dinner, and it's not too expensive. The property was clean, cozy, and very peaceful.The property was also located in the middle of all of the fun things to do in Rehoboth Beach.
