We enjoyed our 3 day stay. All employees were so friendly helpful and caring. Our room was quiet , clean and very easy to access from our car . We don’t like having to walk through lobbies with all our suitcases so the easy access to our vehicle was great.. The breakfast was very good and had a nice variety to choose from. We were happy with our experience there and we recommend it.

I could have rated the cleanliness higher, but the property is undergoing a renovation, done in a discreet/tidy manor, but some of the mess still gets out. We did not have an opportunity to check out any of the amenities as we checked in late and left very early. For the short time we were there, we felt comfortable and had access to all the services we needed. Thanks to the front desk staff that made checking in smooth and quick.

This hotel was generally clean and comfortable. There are many restaurants around the hotel including one inside. It generally smells a little musty and has an old feel. Staff were helpful and the meeting room was large.

We've been staying here over the past 5 years because it was convenient (Big Bike Weekend). The place is rundown and needs a complete overhaul. They're in the middle of some upgrades as it's going to be part of the Marriot group soon. The restaurant/bar was always a great place to hangout Fri & Sat with live music, dancing, etc. No more of that now and it's only open on a very limited basis. It's time to move on.

Clean room, friendly staff. Pillows were very clumpy but comfortable bed! WiFi worked great and there’s breakfast in the morning! Our room also had a patio which was a nice surprise.

They have the biggest pool in Redding! It felt heated and the hot tub worked well along with the little kiddy pool. We always look forward to staying there for my husbands work conference!

Red Lion Inn is a great place to stay in Redding. We arrived early, and had to spend a couple of hours at the park before our room was ready, but the staff did their best to accommodate us and were very helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable - so nice to have air conditioning in that heat, and the pool is the largest hotel pool in Redding and is wonderful to enjoy!

We checked into our room to find it smelt like a chimney inside - booking a hotel that is “nonsmoking” this was very frustrating. The front desk was very helpful in accommodating us to another room which was kind and appreciated. They gave us free breakfast coupons and we got breakfast in the morning - I would never have paid for it though, it was very bland food and the eggs were awful. The room had hair in the shower and a poop stains in the toilet…The floor of our new room was filthy and still smelled - not of smoke this time but of mold and stuffy. I would not recommend anybody staying here. The area is very sketchy next to a motel 6 and homeless surrounding the hotel. There are lights out all over the parking lot that constantly flash into the room. Overall I give the hotel 2/5 stars simply because the staff was great.
