Close to hiking trails to the beautiful Red River mountain lakes, fishing, and riding trails for your side by sides! Located about 5 miles from town, "Nearly Perfect" is a sweet little cabin that backs up to National Forest, offering the privacy of a large lot to enjoy, yet a short drive to town for skiing at the Red River Ski Area, shopping and restaurants. Enjoy the serene mountain views from the front deck porch swing, make memories telling stories around the fire pit in the back yard, a propane grill for summer nights and enjoy viewing the plentiful wildlife from the comfort of a back covered porch! The elk and deer love this property! Step inside "Nearly Perfect" and you'll find a single level cozy mountain cabin with all the comforts of home with an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen for your family and friends, offering plenty of seating to relax next to the gas fireplace or watching TV. Smart TV's are included in the living room and in all 3 bedrooms! This cabin does not offer satellite TV, however, there are plenty of options for you with Netflix, Youtube channels, etc. Bring your logins and you will have plenty of entertainment! Additional fun for the family with games in the hutch located in the hallway. This cabin sleeps 8\. Off the living room, you'll find 3 bedrooms, all with great mountain views through the windows! The master bedroom features a king sized bed, Smart TV, Desk and sizeable closet, ceiling fan, with a beautiful master bathroom with his and hers sinks, with gorgeous tiled shower and separate garden tub. The second bedroom offers a queen sized bed and Smart TV and ceiling fan. The third bedroom is great for the kids with a bunkbed which includes a single bed on the top, a full bed on the bottom and a single trundle under the full, a Smart TV and a ceiling fan. A second bathroom is located between the two bedrooms with a bathtub & shower. The fully stocked kitchen with dishes, utensils and cookware offers a full size refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, a regular coffee maker, and an island with two bartstools with ample seating for all of your guests including a beautiful rustic dining table with seating for 4\. A laundry room with full size washer and dryer sits just off main living area. Free WIFI and ceiling fans in all rooms. ​​​​​​​ PET POLICY: This property does not allow pets. No Smoking allowed inside. No air conditioning. Parking for 4 vehicles, two trailers max. Firewood not supplied for fire pit. You are welcome to bring your own! Garage is not available for guest use. Outside security camera for your safety located in the front and the back of the house. Clean linens/towels, dish soap, dishwasher pods, and an initial supply of toiletries, trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels are provided. Not too far from town. Only negative was the neighbors who live there full time. They try and bully you out of not having a campfire when there is no burn ban. Remember folks. It’s your vacation! The location of “Nearly perfect” is perfect for all of why we visit Red River. “Nearly Perfect” is a short drive to downtown Red River if you need more than beautiful scenery and quiet. This house has a gas stove, central heat and plenty of hot water for a bath or shower. Fire pit and large covered porch out back in the trees and a wonderful covered front porch to take in the mountain views. We go to multiple places fishing and it is so nice to come back to a home at the end of the day. The mattress in the master bedroom is the best we have ever slept on out of all the cabins we have stayed in, anywhere. Feels like a TempurPedic. The shower in the master bathroom is large. “Nearly Perfect” is our choice from now on as long as the owners will allow us to stay. ##### James T.
