You’ll also find the updated kitchen finished with sparkling modern rustic granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, no-slam cupboards, a giant window that looks out towards the covered deck and the river beyond where you can cast a line or two for our local rainbow trout! Off the living area you’ll find the Master Bedroom complete with a king sized bed, flat screen TV/DVD Player, a large stackable washer/dryer and a full bathroom complete with a large rock/tile/glass shower, granite countertops and his/her sinks. Up the stairs you will find 2 bedrooms each housing a king sized bed and flat screen TV/DVD Player, a shared ¾ bathroom with a new tile/glass shower, modern rustic granite top sink and the den which includes a flatscreen TV/DVD Player, queen sofa sleeper and a twin sleeper for additional sleeping quarters, a kitchenette and a coffee bar! Walk out onto the deck and breathe in all the crisp mountain air and listen to nature including the elk bugles from the surrounding Carson National Forest during the Autumn rut! Now if you go downstairs below the main level (kitchen/living room) you will come to another kitchen area, card table for games, a single car garage housing a ping-pong table and the fourth bedroom finished with a queen sized bed and private ½ bath... Outside you have a large complete fenced yard for your little ones to run off that energy or for your furry friends you decided to bring! There is a firepit with plenty of seating where family and friends can sit around and tell stories, roast marshmallows and reminisce about the good ‘ol days! Or jump into our large brand new 6 person hot tub and revive those tired/sore muscles from a good day of hiking, fishing and/or skiing. There are two parking areas at our mountain home, so plenty of space for the whole gang and the toys! You can just jump on and head for the trails straight from the driveway! (Please be mindful of your neighbors and all local speed/traffic laws). This home is complete with a tankless water heater providing constant hot water for our guests, Fiber Optic WiFi and satellite TV so when you want to kick back and enjoy your evenings after a fun filled day then you have the amenities to do so... This home has gorgeous views from all the decks/balconies and is located just a short distance (4.5 miles/10 minute drive) from downtown where there is so much to do from dining in the local eateries to shopping to exploring our great outdoors with many activities such as skiing, snowmobiling, ziplining, nature trails, hikes, off-road trails, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, jeep tours, festivals and so much more! This mountainous retreat is great as a romantic vacation or a family destination generation after generation. Séjour de 8 nuits en août 2022 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Voyageur vérifié 16 août 2022 Points forts : Propreté #### Relaxing summer stay in Red River Our family of eight (grandparents, parents, and four kids ages 1 to 11) enjoyed our stay here. The master bedroom was big enough for a pack’n’play. There was plenty of space and comfortable beds. The view was beautiful and we enjoyed time on the back deck watching the hummingbirds while dining. The hot tub was wonderful. We played in the nearby creek and hiked the roads around the neighborhood. It’s a quiet neighborhood with friendly people, and only a short drive to town. We made it in our Honda Odyssey, but would for sure need a 4WD vehicle in winter. The grandparents were able to park their huge RV (35ft?) in the home’s front parking area, but they might think twice before doing the drive from the main road to the house again. The water pressure at the house was poor, and being able to control the water temperature was challenging. The property manager was responsive in calling out a plumber, but it didn’t solve the issue in our opinion. Overall, though, an enjoyable stay. The water was not fixed until Thursday due to the plumber needing to order a part. So, 3 of the 5 days we paid for a property without water. The beds were horrible. The 4th bedroom in the basement is accessed through the garage. So you feel like you are in a dark dungeon when you close the door. This property is definitely not worth the price of the rental. ##### Jennifer T. Gorgeous views off the deck and close enough to town for a quick trip but out of the hustle and bustle. The house was large-3 levels. 2 couples had their own rooms, 2 teens had their own rooms. Everything was very clean, check in and out was super easy. Lots of space. Awesome hot tub we used. We went skiing and hung out in the small town of Red River and had a blast. Honestly nothing negative to say. It was perfect, easy, fun, and safe. We couldn’t ask for anything more! ##### Reem K.
