"We are three senior females that attended the Pow Wow in Durant, Ok. The first problem was the stairs into the house and us carrying our luggage, the place had a smell we couldn't determine. Initially, it looked clean but noticed that there were dead bugs on the kitchen counter, no water in the fridge, kitchen towels, or an extra garbage bag which we are used to having. There wasn't a light over the coffee pot to see how to make our morning coffee. The living room seating was inadequate for us...

"I am appalled that Hotels.com would have this horrible place on their site! I would like a refund as I could not even sleep in the room! The bed was really hard and made clucking noise whenever I moved on it. I had to hang two towels over the front window curtains to block out the light as there were only sheer curtains on the windows. The lock was only a simple door knob lock and as a strange man was grilling his supper right outside my door in front of his door, I was worried the door would now be enough to stop anyone from breaking in! There was not even a bar of soap to wash my hands! I booked this as I believe most people do by looking at the pictures. They showed a pretty pond and nice outside areas, none of this was there! The property was extremely run down and did not seem safe. I will never use hotels.com and unless reimbursed, will tell everyone I know, that they have bad hotels on their site and do not care about their customers! Lynda Yankovich "

"We had a wonderful time here. We fished right off the dock, the house was very clean, it felt cozy and spread out enough that we didn’t feel cramped. There was a Walmart 15 minutes away for big grocery shopping and the smaller store 3 minutes from the house for last minute things. We drove to Tishomingo one day and shopped the little town and antique store. Mostly stayed at the house played games, kayaked, fished and watched movies. It was absolutely wonderful. "
