"Purpose of our stay was the Meeker Sheepdog Trials. Our location was perfect, the cleanliness of our cabin was perfect, the amenities in the cabin were perfect. "There was nothing to like. I arrived late and the unit was not set up, there was no electricity or no water to the unit. It tool the host over an hour to get it connected. Then there was no soap, no towels, no comforter on the bed, The entry stairs were broken, the A/C was inoperable, the unit was not leveled properly, one of the utility access panels was left undone laying in the filthy floor which also had tiles peeling up. "We have stayed at these cabins multiple times - they are efficient and a great location. Improvements I would recommend- coat hangers, wall hooks, darker curtains, and a hair dryer for guest. Its the little things that makes sense a stay go from good to great. "

"#1 - If you're looking for a "luxury" place, that would be in Vernal, UT., not Dinosaur My assumption: this place was a hotel and it's being flipped into a VRBO by adding kitchens to the rooms. The work isn't done yet. There were cables/wires coming out of the walls, lights that weren't working, dirty floors, and the dishes in the kitchen all had a thick cover of dust. The room was supposed to have a/c, but it didn't, and that area gets very hot for much of the year. I called the mgr to ask about the a/c and they thought it had been installed. While I was in Dinosaur NP on day 2, someone came out and installed a window a/c in the kitchen, which was appreciated, but they left the kitchen counters and stove covered w/ dust and debris from their work. I knew where I was and I wasn't expecting luxury, but this place wasn't ready. That said, the mgr was receptive and helpful, and this place was far better than camping in the hot, dusty, and windy area that describes this entire part of the country."
