Perfect place as a base to visit Plitvice area. Run by a wonderful family and very helpful. I know that a number of reviews mention the price of the meal on site...but my comment to that is you pay for what you get. The meal was great and the portions are VERY generous, and are served to you in beautiful garden setting...and you could drink and not have to drive!!!

Fabulous!
Tina’s place is just perfect! So quiet and peaceful, great pool area. Rooms very comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was great. For an extra charge you can have dinner there too, and the food was simple and excellent!

Good location, but not enough service provided
The room looked very nice with a nice view to the lawn and trees. The single beds there too cramped to the roof, so you can't extend youe legs as an adult. No glasses provided. When asked instead of giving we were told to ask someone else to give from the restaurant, which wasn't very clear. No blinds/shutter on the windows so you will wake up with the first rays of sun. We were offered BBQ at the place, but the prices seemed quite steep and we've got almost same dishes half price in a near by restaurant. Wifi was quiet bad and didn't work in terrace or other bėda of the room. Also for password had to go and ask instead of providing on check in. When tourist tax was paid, no receipt was given. The place is quite nice, but lacking a bit of hospitality. Otherwise the room was clean and quiet most of the night, but we got woken up by loud music from outside at 5am.

Warm reception, super well designed bungalow chalets, good swimming pool and plenty of space for the kids to run around. Good location to the park entrances. Bar and food good, though we found the price for meals on the higher side. Would return.

Excellent place close to Plitvice Lakes (10 min drive). Good people, nice rooms, good breakfast and great BBQ (maybe just a tat expensive compared to restaurants around the place). Would definitely go back.

Great Location for Plitvice Lakes trip
Very helpful, friendly owners and staff members. Comfortable beds and clean bathroom. Nice parking area. Outdoor pool available. Delicious choices for breakfast including made to order omelette or scrambled eggs. Close to Plitvice Lakes. And very good restaurants nearby. Also, a restaurant on site. Laundry service available for reasonable fee.

Nice place for the family

Perfect for families (or anyone else!)
We simply LOVED our brief stay at House Tina. Lovely apartment, setting and hosts. Travelling with 2 kids (6&4) the room with the loft sleeping area gave us loads of space and the location off the main road (many other places i had considered we saw are directly on the main road) meant it was a safe and fun place for the children to play (in the chilly pool and kids play area) and for us to relax. We enjoyed the BBQ dinner by the husband of the house and lovely service from their son. It was €17 per adult and they did enough for the kids too and gave us extra chips when we asked. Also had cheesecake for pudding, lollies and biscuits for the kids but thought it would be nice/ a quick win to have icecream available for the kids. Drinks in the restaurant are limited to wine, beers and soft drinks but we just reminded ourselves this is a guest house and not a fully fledged restaurant. We slept comfortably and enjoyed delicious breakfast in the morning including freshly cooked scrambled eggs. It was all perfect, so easy for a couple of days at the lakes and waterfalls and we would definitely recommend or return if we came again.

Don’t miss the chance to stay here!
An amazing experience! The service was outstanding here. We needed tickets adjusted to the park and they were right on it for us. They mentioned we could have dinner there and it was the best bbq we had during our entire trip, and it was so reasonably priced. Breakfast was amazing too!! Loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer!

This was such a nice stay. The person at check in, Doloris, was terrific, so friendly and helpful. We were able to have a large load of laundry done here for under $10. The room was incredibly clean. It looked brand new. The beds were so cute and the air conditioning worked VERY well! We had a lovely balcony. Breakfast was very good!

Beautiful home stay feel
The House Tina was really like staying with a family as most of the staff were the family of the owners. From the mum checking us in to the son and daughter serving us and the dad on the BBQ each night it had a great feel to it.

Amazing Place at Plitvice
Gorgeous place to stay in Plitvice National Park area. It's about 10 minutes ride to entrance 1 and I highly recommend visitors to the national park to stay at hotel Tina. They serve great dinner and room is super comfortable and clean.

A lovely property close to Plitvice Park. A little hard to find, though just off highway, since address is off GPS. Friendly multilingual staff, good food. Other restaurants nearby. Recommended.

A nice B&B close from Pritvice toward Zagreb
My iPhone GPS got me to the wrong location on the main street in Grabovac. Their site has the accurate map. You have to make a right at the main crossing in Grabovac and turn left and proceed about 400m to get to their place. It's big house with a red roof. The staff is nice. The room is clean and comfortable. They have swings, a seesaw and a miniature soccer field with goals, an ideal place for families with little kids. Their dinner ( mixed meat or fish ) was delicious and reasonable.

The location was great, a quiet neighborhood close to the lakes. The family room that we booked had some service issues, so they found us a room across the street which was great. We were given free breakfast to compensate us for our troubles. The staff was very helpful in giving advice on visiting the national park and directions to other locations. The meat and fish plates for supper were amazing. There are also activities for the kids: ping pong, mini soccer field and a playground.

We had a wonderful experience at Tina's house. The staff was overwhelmingly courteous friendly and helpful. The Inn has a playground for children and is up on a little bluff so that the surrounding landscape is displayed. We opted for the optional meal and were treated to a magnificent mixed grill for myself and fish for my wife. The gentleman serving the fish even took time to show my wife how to debone it. They have a little bar that serves at very very reasonable prices. Yes it is true that they do not accept credit cards, and the location is about a 20 minute ride to plitvice, but I would stay here again.

Obviously they were overbooked & did their best under the circumstances but would've appreciated them letting us know in advance and not upon arrival

Plitvice Lakes B&B House Tina
A very comfortable B&B a short drive from the entrances of the Plitvice Lakes National Park. House Tina's rooms and restaurant area is new and well run. It has a great terrace where you can sip a glass of the local wine(s) or eat a snack. We enjoyed the room, food and overall our stay at House Tina.

The perfect place to stay near Plitvice. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable, and Milan's personal attention made it really special. The advice he gave us for visiting the park and avoiding the crowds was right on. He runs a first class operation and really knows how to take care of his guests. Our stay couldn't have been better.

All thr good things you have heard are true... but
There are many positive reviews on several site about House Tina Bed and Breakfast. It is very close to Plitvice (10 minutes drive), the rooms are of fairly good size, the breakfast is fresh and filling, the owner will provide good tips on what to see in the park, other things to do/see in the area and even recommend certain routes (vs GPS) for your next destination. They also have a mixed grill or fish BBQ offered nightly as dining options in town do exists but are limited. Two things to watch for: The soundproofing is non-existent. People moving up/down the stairs will create quite a bit of noise in some of the rooms. Also, although Expedia lists this hotel as accepting credit cards, it does not really wants you to. My welcome to the hotel was: We want cash, please...

The owner, Milan, is very friendly and welcoming (and multilingual in Croatian, German, French, English, etc.) -- be sure to follow his advice on the best route to walk through Plitvice Lakes in order to minimize the crowds. The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable, and each one had its own balcony. The location was about 10 minutes from the park entrance, so very convenient. The evening dinner was one of the best we had in the country -- grilled fresh trout and several very tasty side dishes all served family style on the terrace.

I looked for a quiet place near the National Forest as I knew Dubrovnik and Split would be crowded and we wanted a nice, restful evening before going on to Zagreb. It was even better than I expected. Tina is delightful and the food is wonderful. It was only 10 minutes from the Lakes.

Great place to stay!
We stayed here during our visit to Plitvice National Park. The location is about 5-10 minutes from the park....just far enough to get away from all the commotion! LOL! The owners were friendly and helpful with information on the best way to see the park. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, even though it was not overly large. We enjoyed dinner with them the first night. Food was plentiful, nicely presented and extremely tasty! They have a large separate add-on building with a large, nice dining room and kitchen. And the breakfasts were also delicious with lots of choices for breakfast. They have modern stainless fixtures and appliances in a well designed facility. In fact House Tina was one of two establishments that offered the best food we had during our 3 week tour of Croatia and Slovenia. I highly recommend staying at House Tina!

The beds were comfortable, the room was large, the house is close to Plitivice Falls, the staff was fantastic (very helpful) and the scrambled eggs at breakfast were the best I've ever eaten. We will definitely stay here if we get back to Plitivice.

Perfect overnight before the park
Our stay was perfect! Staff was super friendly and breakfast was great; we stayed in the off season and basically had the place to ourselves. Would have loved to spend more time and explore more but that'll have to be another trip and I'll definitely be back! Thanks!
