Set on cliff top land, Neptune Cove's waterfront estate is like nothing you have seen before. With 400ft of private Caribbean frontage, the property is 40 feet above the crystal waters, providing breathtaking sea views and facing west for the majestic sunsets, enjoyed from every part of the property. Sunrises over the sea are also visible during the winter months! Neptune Cove is less than a 10 minute walk (or 1 minute drive) from beautiful and pristine Rainbow Bay Beach. Famous for its calm, turquoise waters, Rainbow Beach also has good snorkeling. Neptune Cove's covered wrap-around veranda offers shaded outdoor living, including a picturesque gazebo, a perfect setting for relaxing with a good book or to gather for sunset cocktails. This area is furnished with sofas, chairs, and tables so you can enjoy the sweeping Caribbean views and gentle sea breezes however you choose to relax. Steps away from the main and guest houses is our oceanview infinity pool. Relax on lounge chairs on the pool deck or on the bar stools in the pool. For those who choose to swim in the calm Caribbean waters at the base of the cliff, walk down a short fountain path to a natural alcove in the island's limestone geological formation. It is here that you will find access into the clear waters of the Caribbean, both in and out of the sea via a short ladder. You will be truly amazed at the variety of fish you will see just snorkeling around the coral which is plentiful and healthy in this part of the Caribbean. In 20 minutes in the water recently, I saw queen angel fish, four-eyed butterfly fish, blue tangs, yellow tangs, spade fish, parrot fish, porkfish, various species of grouper and snapper, and many more. After the sun sets, gather around the fire pit, furnished with Adirondack chairs, and just cherish the view and topography of the land and sea as the unique natural wonders they are. On a clear night, this is also an excellent spot for watching the firmament and falling stars! Neptune Cove is located in the community known as Rainbow Bay. Our guests are permitted to use the convenient waterfront tennis court just a few minutes walk away. The excellent food and drink and nightlife of the Sunset Cove (formerly known as the Rainbow Inn) is also just a 5 minute walk away. Grocery stores and liquor stores are a short drive. Amenities include high-speed Starlink internet with WIFI, AC throughout, private pool, gas grill, and a back-up generator. The Main House The main house at Neptune Cove was designed for entertaining. It is a large open-concept design featuring a full luxury kitchen with an oversized island with 4 bar stools, GE Profile appliances, and elegant quartz countertops. This is a true chef's kitchen with every imaginable appliance and utensil, extensive kitchenware, and high end china. The main house open living room seats 12 people with cathedral ceilings and magnificent ocean views. The dining room seats 12 comfortably (plus 4 more on the adjacent kitchen island) and also has beautiful ocean views. There is a powder room off this living area as well. The main house has two master bedroom suites with king size beds, ensuite bathrooms with walk-in showers, and plenty of clothes storage. Each bedroom has a 32” TV. There is a 50” TV in the great room. The Guest House The guest house consists of two separate efficiency suites, each with king-size bed, a queen-size sofa bed, mini fridge, microwave and toaster, coffee maker and 32” TV. Each suite has a full en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and plenty of closet space. Each of the suites sleeps two each very comfortably and can sleep an additional two guests on the queen-size sofa bed. The Gazebo Suite (additional charge applies): This private suite beneath the gazebo has a king-size bed and a large ocean-view living area with a sofa bed. It has a full en-suite bath with a small walk-in shower. I think the gazebo room is also larger than shown. There is plenty of space to stretch out. The snorkeling behind the house is great, go down to the large rocks towards the North, bring your gear! We saw sea turtles daily. Rainbow bay beach is nearby and sandy with easier access than behind the house with the ladder. Get your groceries near the Eleuthera airport, it's 40 minutes away but well worth the drive as the local places are poorly stocked and very pricey. We had no trouble with water or power since the home has a generator. The home is generally well outfitted, but it's time for an inventory as there were very few glasses and almost none that were plastic for by the pool. A regular cookie sheet and some plastic cups would have made life slightly easier but we weren't complaining with that view. There were infinite plates, coffee cups, and towels. We found even plenty of the basics and did not have to buy toilet paper, paper towels, or even shampoo as it seems they helpfully leave large bottles prior guests bought. If you're picky about perfectly clean, it was clean, but not to a hotel or US VRBO standard I would say. We loved it and would definitely stay again if we made it back to Eleuthera! ##### Angela G. The bedroom under the gazebo had a very bad odor and we were not able to use this room for our family of 12\. The property has some maintenance issues. Snorkel and swim right off the back landing. Everyday ended with an adult beverage on the veranda overlooking the ocean. Close to Governor’s Harbour for shops and restaurants but don’t sleep on Delish just south of house. Some of the best food on the island. For beaches, we went to Ten Bay, Twin Cove, Cocodimama, French Leave and Rainbow beach. They are all great but the best beach is Rainbow and that happens to be the closest. Rainbow is about a mile away and you can see the beach from the house. When you think of a Caribbean beach, this is it. Crystal clear blue water with perfect sand. Snorkeling is best along the rocks on the north side going toward home. We will be back!! ##### Brad S. The house was clean, neat, and tasteful. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and spices. The property, especially the cove in the cliffs with access to the ocean, is stunning. We enjoyed walking around the property every morning, as well as fishing and swimming from the cove. The kids also really enjoyed the pool. The house is very close to Rainbow Bay Beach, the Rainbow Room Restaurant, and Big Rock Grocery Store. Sarah checked in with me a few days before coming to ensure we had all of the information we needed to check in. She also communicated with us via text when we arrived. The caretakers, Brenda and Billy, met us there and were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend for big families and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again! ##### Stephanie R. Quiet relaxation. The beaches are great and the locals are very friendly. Our stay in this beautiful home was very relaxing. We felt this was the perfect spot for out group of 9\. Plenty of space and all the features you could ask for. Pool was great. The cliff side "patio" area was great to enjoy a fire and at night watch the shrimp as they glowed in the water. Turtles just off shore in the water were common. Cliff diving was fun. The house had plenty of room for us all to hang out together at night. All in all a great experience. The one thing about Eleuthera is it is rural. No big hotels, restaurants or Walmart. Small grocery stores and gift shops. The island is 110 miles long so a trip nort or south takes time. There are many good local restaurants up and down the island. Rainbow beach was great. French leap was great as was the pink sand beach up on harbor island. The location was great and the layout allowed everyone they own space. It was windy our week so we didn’t get to do any snorkeling by the house. The owner was very responsive to our needs. The beds are the best …. I slept great every night. About the only downside was the internet reliability. It was hit or miss. I would recommend this house. ##### M. M. Magnificent estate setting with an infinity pool overlooking the Caribbean and a grotto that is set back into the rock face. Below the grotto may be some of the best snorkeling on the island. Kitchen is gourmet equipped, lacking nothing when preparing meals. Bedrooms are first class and offer a scenic view from each one. The caretakers are extraordinary. Brenda and Lisa met us upon arrival and gave us the grand tour of the estate. They along with Capt. Jay, Jeremy and Ivan take care of any little issue immediately, and I mean little issue, like a burned out light bulb or a door lock that was stuck. Suggestions for restaurants, groceries, snorkeling spots, and not to be missed views were shared with all of us. I can’t thank them or the owner enough for our amazing trip.
