I personally enjoyed this place as it provided all that needed for my stay in Guatemala. It was clean, the hotel staff were wonderfully helpful, wifi was fully functional, shower had adjustable temperatures, an actual breakfast was served (nothing like a bagel with spread kind of stuff), and the parking lot was in a gated space.
Now, if you want the extra amenities like a pool or gym, then this might not be the place for you. The only thing negative about the ‘antique’ desgin of the place is the light switches in the rooms which can pose a shock hazard to patrons as the ground can be easily exposed if the cover falls off (which happened in my case). Also, you can’t come and go as you like since you have to leave the key at the front but it’s one of those things that isn’t too inconvenient at times.
