Delightful Queenscliff Cottage | Walk to Beach, Cafés & Shops

  • This charming cottage is perfectly located close to the best swimming beach in Queenscliff and only a short walk to the main street, cafes, restaurants and shopping precinct.

    The property features timber floors and quality furnishings throughout. It has three attractive bedrooms; two with queen beds and one with two singles and one trundle. Also two toilets and one bathroom.
    There are two living areas. The first is a cosy central lounge room and the second faces the rear garden. The kitchen/dining area opens onto a large deck and overlooks the lovely fernery.
    This home offers clean and efficient hydronic heating and air conditioning; providing year round comfort.
    Other features include 2 TV's, Netflix, CD player, ipod dock, 2 DVD players, porta cot with extra mattress, high chair, gas cooking, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine, outdoor shower, outdoor umbrella, gas BBQ, and outdoor settings. Seating is located at various outside locations for guests to sit and enjoy the pretty cottage gardens. Doonas with covers, pillows and pillow cases are provided. Sheets, bath and beach towels are an additional cost of $25 per person or you can B.Y.O. Please notify us when booking.

    Pantry stocked with essentials and there are plenty of DVD's, games, toys, magazines and books to keep everyone entertained.
    Well behaved dogs welcome inside or outside in the fully enclosed back & front yards. Two kennels, two baskets and bowls provided for dogs.
    Perfect for couples, families and small groups.
    A comfortable home in all seasons.

    Please Note:
    A $200 security bond applies which will be refunded within 7 days after check out if property is left in a satisfactory standard and there is no damage.
    Children& dogs must be under adult supervision at all times.
    No Schoolies.
    Special permission is required to bring more than two dogs.
    The open fireplace is not available for use however there is efficient hydronic heating throughout the house.
    There is to be no smoking on property.

Queenscliff Delightful Cottage is highly recommended for guests and their fur babies.

Wonderful place to stay

This is the second time we stayed at Delightful Cottage, we really love the house and Carmen is wonderful to communicate with. It has an awesome cubby house down the end of the garden great for kids to play in.

Truly dog friendly

It was a beautiful cottage with quirky decorations. The garden was beautiful. It was a delight to stay in a truly dog friendly property. The dogs loved it. Close to the beach and walking distance to the dog beach. We'd stay here again.

A great break for our family of 7. Our hosts excelled in providing a happy holiday stay. They are friendly & communication was great. Home from home. The quaint cottage is clean & immaculate with attention to detail. Everything is provided for an enjoyable stay. The beds are comfortable & the hydronic heating was welcome on chilly evenings. The children enjoyed the magical fairy garden & our little pooch was well provided for. He was settled & ‘at home’. We have no hesitation in recommending the ‘Delightful Cottage’ which is well positioned to the town. Jenny & family.

Perfect Rest & Relaxation Location

This charming cottage was the perfect location for a much needed rest & relaxation holiday. The beds were extremely comfortable, the outdoor space was easy to relax in and the place had an overall delightful charm. An easy walk to the beach and a great space that our border collie was very comfortable enjoying with us. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone needing to recharge, it was truly amazing and Carmen was the host that goes that extra mile to make sure you are comfortable.

Communications with Carmen were exceptional. Cottage was well set up and welcoming. Perfect for a long weekend getaway. The little touches of dog biscuits, wine & chocolates were lovely & appreciated. Our pooches love the space out the back too.

Wedding stay

We stayed at Carmens delightful cottage for two nights for our wedding. Upon entering we immediately felt a cosy relaxed vibe. We were presented with chocolates and wine and puppy treats on arrival. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return on our one year anniversary 😀

Fantastic little gem at Queenscliff

We stayed for 2 nights which wasnt enough. The covered courtyard and garden is like your personal slice of paradise. The property is well kept with the owners personal touches everywhere. Super clean and organised. Location wise cant be beat especially if you have dogs. Walking distance to the dog beach and to town. Highly recommended if you are ever planning to stay at Queenscliff.

Wonderful home

Lovely very spotless home. Lots of space and areas to relax. Everything has been thought through and you need for nothing. Back deck and yard also a lovely addition in summer to sit. My dogs really enjoyed it. It’s 5 min walk to beach and 2 mins to a fantastic breakfast cafe and a beautiful pizza shop in you need it. Only suggestion is to pull some the nic naks down as they take up all space to put your own things on in the living and particularly the kitchen. One downside for me as a light sleeper, this is on the main road in and the early traffic noise going to the ferry woke me everyday and slept in the back room. But I had friend that aren’t light sleepers in the front room and they had no issues.
