"Overall quality was good, it's in the countryside which comes with expected limitations (WiFi didn't always work and the water heater required some waiting time) and the price was on the cheaper side compared to the rest of the area. The room had some "cracks" in several places, during the harvest season this allowed some smoke to enter which was not ideal, while I didn't experience many problems with insects (one gecko and 2-3 spiders) this could be a potential problem for other guests. "

"We enjoyed a three night stay at Mai Chau lodge. As the lodge was quiet being mid-week, we were given an upgrade which was a nice surprise. Our room was spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and lake. The local food offered in the restaurant was lovely. As options in the town were a bit limited we ate there every night. Location was excellent for visits to the outlying villages- all in an easy walk or cycle. Best of all were Ninh and her staff. Always friendly and eager to help and offer advice. "
