![Selina Hostels at Playa Venao
The hostel is new and not finished yet, but it has a great design, is located directly at the beach and the staff is really cool. A con is that there is only one shop which has basically nothing and is really expensive; so you either have to bring your food or eat at the bar in the hostel.
The beach itself is good for surfers, but you can also enjoy the waves without a board. 
There are only two (or maybe three; nobody knows) buses from Pedasí to Playa Venao: once in the morning (I think at 7) and once at 12 o'clock. It takes around 1.5 hours. "The DJ and dance party was great. The main facility was nice - attractive, cool vibe, nice beach, beach shower, nice pool, nice lounge chairs... room / beds were great.. looked great... but the shower curtain was really gross - dirty and moldy and made you feel like you were in a cheap filthy place, even though everything else was good... strange that such an easy and cheap fix would be left in such a disgusting state. Staff were great and altogether a nice stay. Thanks"

"La Posada está ubicada en una propiedad simplemente hermosa, la construcción tiene un diseño de madera de lujo. Las cabañas están en medio de la selva y prácticamente desde cualquier esquina se puede ver el mar, y tiene acceso directo a la playa, una playa extensa perfecta para caminar o bañarse. El área de piscina es muy bonita. Pase dos noches en el paraíso, vimos pajaritos de colores de toda clase, aguiluchos y una iguana. Este lugar es perfecto si lo que buscas es paz, naturaleza y tranquilidad. El desayuno incluido es delicioso, incluso nos dieron agua de pipa cada mañana. El servicio al cliente el primer día de check in estuvo un poco lento, sin embargo se notaba que son un equipo pequeño al frente de la administración. Todos fueron siempre muy atentos y amables. ¡Gracias!! Regresaré."
