THE SUITE (Casa Comoda II) Loma Linda, 115 Calle Hortensia, is a well kept complex in the Amapas area of Puerto Vallarta. Large, airy and spacious corner suite with terracotta floors throughout, accented with carved wood doors and authentic Mexican art and collectibles. Solid wood-framed glass folding doors open completely onto the terrace on the front and sides of the suite, giving you the feeling of being outside even indoors. Beautiful rustic wood finishings give the suite a very authentic feel. The suite has a huge built-in concrete base sectional sofa (common in Mexico) with memory foam, perfect for entertaining or sleeping. The sofa sleeps two people comfortably...even tall people! TV/MOVIES Smart TV available for those nights you want to throw on Netflix and cozy up on the couch with the breeze blowing in from the Bay. KITCHEN The kitchen is newly renovated, with lots of cupboard space, a large island, full-sized fridge, gas stove and plenty of dishes, pots and pans, utensils...everything you need if you like to make your own meals. There is a water filtration/purification system installed for clean water access, attached to a fridge water dispenser. Fridge also has ice maker. As well, off the kitchen is a full-sized clothes washer and dryer. Coffee addict? It comes equipped with three different coffee machines--cappuccino maker, drip coffee and a Kurig. Bring your favourite coffee and you're good to go, whatever your taste! TERRACE The huge terrace overlooks Banderas Bay and gives you panoramic, stunning views of the ocean. It has a gas-powered outdoor grill on the terrace. Feel like a steak or fish-fry? Light 'er up and enjoy a barbeque'd meal in the magical open air while you marvel at the 2nd largest bay in the Western Hemisphere. MASTER BEDROOM The large master bedroom is very self-contained, with its own bathroom and vanity area. The bedroom/bathroom can be closed off by a door to the rest of the suite when you want some privacy. The room has a set of large, glass doors that open up onto the terrace, and folding windows on the other side overlooking Banderas Bay. Open up the doors and the windows to the outside in the morning to have a spectacular, breezy, lazy day in bed with a cup of coffee! SECOND BEDROOM The second bedroom is on the opposite side of the suite, which makes it very private, and has its own access to a common-area guest bathroom. There is a small balcony off the bedroom which faces the pretty, well-manicured walkway and vegetation of the complex. This room has two twin beds which can be put together and topped with a king-sized sheet to make one bed. Both bedrooms have tons of closet space. AIR CONDITIONING The bedrooms each have an easy-to-use remote access air-conditioning unit, which works very quickly on those days you need to cool down, or for those extra warm nights. Although most of the time you want to feel the warm, tropical breeze, it's nice to cool down on the hotter days. HOT WATER Many places in Mexico have small hot water tanks due to the cost of electricity. This means that you can run out of hot water mid-shower. We have installed Hot Water on Demand to give you a limitless supply, because it heats it as you use it. No cold showers halfway through! MAID SERVICE Included with your stay, the maid comes six days a week (except for Sundays) to keep you tidy! With the cleaning you will get new sheets and towels. It is customary to leave a tip for her at the end of your stay. POOLS This property has two pool areas: one is the main heated pool with a bar area where you can host your own pool party. The second is a smaller rooftop pool, with incredible views of the ocean, located on the rooftop of the adjoining building just above the main pool area. It has a small pool meant for lounging and even more panoramic views. The condo itself is stunning with insane views. Open air walls and nicely decorated - made for a perfect get away. We watched the sunset from the patio and the bedroom every night. There was ample amount of towels and pillows and blankets, there was also a boogie board and floaties for the beach they had everything you needed for your stay. Peter was a great communicator and replied quickly when I needed him. There was also a house keeper that came in between our stay to make sure the place was cleaned. The house has everything you need and Esperanza was great. All positive for our stay. If you are planning to get around by walking, just know you are on a incline and once you cross street, you will have many steps to go down. We saw so many unbelievable sunsets from the balcony... We walked everywhere, no need for a car. The air conditioning was phenomenal for sleeping. Our highlights of the stay were Rythym of the Nights, botanical gardens and relaxing by the pool. We highly recommend Peter's villa and will DEFINITELY be back! The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were comfy and the plentiful linens and towels good quality. The daily housekeeping help was a lovely perk. There are lots of stairs and the villa is on a steep hill, so would not be a good choice for those with mobility issues, but was fine for us. Ubers are inexpensive and fast when needed. The pool areas were also wonderful. AC in the bedrooms ensured a comfortable sleep as we visited during one of the hotter times of the year! Peter is a fantastic host. ##### Karyn S. Everything is as pictured and even better in person. The view from the terrace is spectacular and we had the terrace doors open most of the time. The property is lush and just beautiful. No problem with bugs either. I’m not sure I’ll be able to stay anywhere else in PV now! The steep hill down to the street below was no problem for us (a 50 and a 62 year old). We just caught a taxi from there and went wherever we wanted. Peter is absolutely a gracious host. Very accommodating and allowed us to arrive earlier than check in time. Excellent communication. Kitchen was well stocked, so we bought groceries and made breakfast almost every day. The view from the patio and main bedroom is beautiful, we got to see amazing sunrises, sunsets, fireworks and lightnings. Unfortunately, the water filter broke during our stay and slightly flooded the kitchen, but Peter and Silvia were very helpful and it was resolved the next day. Note, if you are planning to work remotely or a sensitive sleeper, there is construction happening in the building and in the building next door, so it can get quite noisy in the morning and during the day, since the windows aren't sealed. Check-in and check-out was easy and Peter was kind enough to let us check-out a bit later. Overall we enjoyed our stay, thanks again! ##### Kate L. The rooms had its own AC, which was great. We stayed during a rainy spell, so the heat wasn't too intense. Be prepared for a bit of a workout walking uphill to the place after a day at the beach or exploring the area. It was a little tricky to find initially since the address isn't clearly visible and might have recently changed, but we managed to locate it. The views were incredible, and the place felt very secure. There are both a big and a small pool, which we enjoyed. The beach is nearby, but the walk back is uphill, so keep that in mind. We often used Uber to get around and also enjoyed walking along the beach. Overall, we loved our stay. The communication with the host and the cleaning lady was excellent. The area is lively, with a major street nearby, so it can get a bit noisy at times, but it wasn't a big issue. It’s a total charmer with a spectacular view and a great Mexican vibe. The location is fantastic- you have to be able to walk up and down lots of steep steps - no more than 7 minutes (after the first few days it’s not even 5 ). At the bottom of the steps you are right at the far end of the romantic zone. I loved the steps. Great exercise. My husband-not so much. VERY easy to get a cab. About 4-5USD. Here’s the issue with the property for us. It is right near the main road (highway) that goes in and out of town. It can be VERY loud. Even louder, though, are big construction trucks that go up the hill next to the unit to build or repair other units further up the hill. Peter was very responsive and got us a white noise machine. If traffic sounds don’t bother you then this is the place for you. I can’t say enough good things about the view and the place itself, and Peter and his excellent communication. ##### Vicky F. Charming Grounds My husband, 13 yr old son and I had a fantastic, relaxing stay at this property. The unit is airy and spacious with plenty of room to spread out with a large, open kitchen, two full bathrooms, and a big comfy living space that opens out onto the patio. It would easily accommodate a larger family, two couples, etc. We loved being up on top of the small hill for the views and being at a slight remove from the bustle of town. The complex is a true oasis with lovely architecture, plantings, fountains and a huge, clean, saltwater pool in the main area. There is another dipping pool on the roof deck which is great for sunsets. The community was very quiet during our stay but I assume that would change week to week. I agree with other reviewers that there are a lot of stairs but we usually took the stairs or walked on the streets in both directions unless we went into town multiple times in a day.
