We arrived late afternoon after a long flight and drive to the property only to find that many basics were missing i.e. one towel and face cloth for two people and no top sheet or blanket on bed. "We had never been to this part of Mexico. The pictures posted of the views don’t do it justice. The only sounds you will hear are the sounds of the ocean and birds. There are no city lights to interfere with the views of the sky at night. Communication with the property manager was promptly answered. One suggestion is an SUV is suggested. We look forward to returning to this lovely property next year."

"Good basic local hotel in a magical location - please know this is a good Mexican hotel, not Canadian or American, so adjust your expectations. Incredible view but you’ll have to work for it, up a series of switchbacks on a very steep and winding cobblestone road. Down is harder to navigate but the heat gets you on the way up if you try to head back for a siesta or a bit of pool time. No food or drink available, which means you’ll have to plan well, as this hill is between you and all food and drink! You can take a taxi up from or down to town for 50-70pesos. Nice refreshing pool that we had to ourselves. Wonderfully gracious and helpful staff. "

"Impossible to describe hiw beautiful this place is. The dramatic location on the side of a cliff outside a charming fishing town. The stunning views of the sea from three levels, emerald in the morning, sapphire towards evening, with a brilliant sunset. The house itself a work of architectural wonder, beautifully furnished with local furniture and kitchen ware, comfortable beds dramatically draped with mosquito netting, and a gracious gardener / caretaker couple. I'll be back with friends, because it's the loveliest place for hanging out and relaxing."

"This is a great place in a safe gated community. We loved the pool and the view from the pool, the view from the decks is amazing! Nice little kitchen. The walk down to the private beach is amazing…but wear runners to climb back up!!! It is a really steep climb.It was great that the host responded quickly to any questions. They also provided great recommendations for the area as well as a recommended taxi driver which is a huge value!!Small tweaks to the house would make it a next level stay. Beds are not very comfortable and bedding could be updated.Hot water had no heat and no pressure. While I enjoyed the refreshing shower, my partner did not . The games are only a deck of cards. "
