There was no desk in the room and no access to open areas in the facility. Being located “right next” to the road, with the bed on that wall, it was noisy. Double pained windows on that wall would help. »

« What a lovely stay, we stayed in the print room which was the perfect size, very homely and welcoming, overlooking the market square. Communication with The Dial House Team was via WhatsApp, they responded straight away and were always happy to help. The location is perfect being 30 minutes drive from some great sights. Breakfast was lovely, huge croissants. Honestly can’t fault anything. I’d definitely recommend and would love to stay again, I want to try one of the other rooms as they’re all...

« Expedia confirmed my booking and took payment. Around two hours later, the host cancelled because of “an error with the calendar” — for a stay that was due the very next day. That alone was bad enough, but the refund process made it worse. It took two days and three phone calls to Expedia to chase a proper refund, after the first refund shown was only partial. So I was left with no accommodation, wasted time, unnecessary stress, and then had to fight to get back the money I should never have...

« The property was very dated, with a need of a deep clean and decor update. Carpets were stained and our particular room had a unpleasent smell. Overall the property has seen better days, I guess this is reflected in a lower than average room price for the area. Staff however were very friendly and although we did not eat a main meal, the portions looked generous and other guests appeared content. Suggest read the available reviews and make you own decision. »

« Absolutely beautiful place, in fabulous surroundings, with an interesting back story. Very comfortable bed and top quality bed linen and towels. The decor was superb, the breakfast was delicious and the owners and staff were wonderful. Would definitely stay there again when visiting family in the area. »
