Séjour de 7 nuits en février 2026 ### 2/10 – Terrible #### TOM T. 11 févr. 2026 Points faibles : Propreté We booked the property from Jan 28th - Feb 06th. On the evening of Feb 4th we noticed a rat in the front facing bedroom ceiling rafters. We Immediately notified the host. Thursday morning the pest control company came by and placed many traps within the house. The evening of Feb 5th we heard a commotion in the kitchen, it was a huge rat that caught by the glue trap from under the kitchen sink. I contacted the host, her response was to have the pest control company come out Friday morning, i stated that was unacceptable as the rat was alive, making horrible noises and trying to free itself. She finally had the pest control come out that night. I also had to contain the rat until the pest control company came. The pest control company fumbled with a snapping trap until it caught the rat and made the situation worse as the rat was still alive making worse noises. We were brushed off by the host stating rats are to be expected. We have been to 8 other Caribbean countries without any rat issues. The host also declined any compensation. Opening all the doors and windows to let the Tradewinds blow through is highly conducive to relaxation...well, ok, napping. Being able to swim and kayak right off the deck are a real plus for this property. We took advantage of Sapodilla Bay and Taylor Bay beaches, which are less than 5 minutes away, almost every day. Our trip to Provo was great and Rockspray was a big parf of that. It was so nice waking up every morning and watching the sun turn Chalk Sound into a beautiful blue that is almost unnatural. You will think you are in the Maldives, the water is so beautiful. It feels like an over the water house! The deck space is so beautiful and loved the dining outside or inside. We enjoyed kayaking right off the house deck. Loved the layout for 2 couples to share with feeling like you still have privacy. Property management was truly the best, so nice and responsive and even granted us early luggage drop off on our rental day. Taylor Bay is in walking distance and a great place to get great sunset photos. Thank you for the welcome gift when we arrived! LaS Brisas Restaurant has been on of our must eat places for 3 years now, the fish or scrimp tacos are the best on the island. We took hundreds of photo of the house view and still can't capture what its like in person. Loved our stay and we will be back. Thank you. ##### Kimberly G. We had several issues we addressed with management and hope they consider the simple fixes that were brought to their attention. We personally own multiple rental properties and understand the difference in nit picking and legitimate concerns. The location and the deck are wonderful. We really enjoyed being a little bit away from the traffic and crowded areas, and there were several restaurants nearby for when we wanted something closer in the evenings. We planned this trip for my 40th birthday, our friends and us had the most amazing time! They helped us plan before our trip and we’re easily reached if needed while we were in Turks! I can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff and the house! We will definitely be back!! My only negative comment is that the pictures they have posted don’t do the deck justice… I spent more time on the double decker deck on our 6night 7 day trip than I did in the house (please know the house is fabulous too)… it was such a wonderful surprise! The house is full of character and wonderful little details like framed feathers and seashells on the walls, antiques and lovely furniture. The house is secluded and down a stone driveway off the main road. The master bedroom with bathroom and shower that opens to the outside is especially beautiful. We loved the location as it was very close to great beaches and there were several restaurants with in just a couple miles.
