"We love staying here - usually with our dog. It is not a sterile motel with hermetically sealed windows - and with the rumoured purchase by Hilton, we hope it doesn't turn into one of those expensive, sterile chain motels. This place has character and lovely staff. Sure it's a bit dated, but it's clean and reasonably priced and in a nice location for walking with lovely river views. I hope the Hilton corporation won't ruin this place. If they were smart, they would emphasize the 1960's down home feel and keep the great folks who work here who make it feel homey. We travel a lot and this is by far one of our most favourite places to stay. "

"Beautiful adobe style property. Very unique for the area. Spacious, spotless and well appointed. Miles above your average chain hotel. We had some fantastic wines and charcuterie. Thank you Michelle, Bertie and chef for making our stay memorable! Would love to come back and explore the area."
