This captivating property has it's own private boat ramp and dock, however for larger boats, the Dreher Island boat ramp is less than half a mile away. We had a great time regardless of some minor thongs! The screened in porch is where we spent most of our time. The neighbors dog was a little annoying when you come somewhere to relax but nothing you can do about that. The home was cozy, clean, and perfectly tucked away to offer total privacy and relaxation. Surrounded by nature and just steps away from the water, it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Whether we were enjoying our morning coffee on the porch or unwinding by the lake in the evening, every moment felt rejuvenating. Check in was simple. The place smelled and looked amazing. There was a kayak already there but we brought our own and out on the water we went. The week consisted of swimming off the dock, fishing off the dock while the boys took the boat out—- you can park the boat at the dock or up in the grass and reading on the dock. We did bring a canopy tent that we put up on the dock since it averaged 100 degrees before the humidity. We had all our meals at the house and the grocery store was only 15 minutes away. It only rained the last night and it was a doozy that came up fast. The porch was great but a ceiling fan would have made it perfect as we sat on the porch to work on a puzzle that was already at the house. ##### Karen L.
