"I booked West coast private but due to a mix up ended up at the sister property South coast private. I was pleased with the apartment overall. It was comfortable, well stocked and beautifully decorated.There were lots of towels, beach chairs and good kitchen utensils. The property has a side view of beautiful Maxwell beach but it is very close to the street so at night you hear the ocean but also some street noise. I recommend including ice trays and adding a vanity for cosmetics. Linens...

"This property is in a great very safe location, close to a supermarket and a 2 minute walk to a beautiful beach. From where it’s situated you can easily get to anywhere using public transport, the bus stop is down the bottom of the road which is a fun way to see the island. "This beautifully appointed & newly remodeled spot was just what we needed to transition in to our vacation. We sat on the balcony in the morning sipping coffee, overlooking the scenic valley and ocean, and relaxing. This spot was close enough to the restaurants, tourist spots, music and airport to be a short drive but far enough not to hear anything but birds. Our hosts were very friendly and enjoyable. We will definitely be back!."

"Internet connections in room were terrible. Complained 3 times and it was never fixed. We don't think it can be fixed. Hallways were dark with heavy carpet. On our second stay the rooms air conditioner was antiquated and not functioning properly. They had a noisy standing fan for if the room became too hot. Also no soap holder in the shower. Had to rest soap on the ridge of the bath stall. "

"The oceanview rooms that are assigned for Expedia guests are situated at the front of the hotel (closest to the street), so at night you will hear everything that's going on outside (street noise, karaoke bars etc...). If you want a better positioned room, book directly from the hotel website. If you're travelling solo beware of the beach manager. Depending on the day, he may "suggest" that because you're travelling solo, you should agtee to share an umbrella with another solo traveller (who's a complete stranger). That way, he can keep the dual sunloungers open for people travelling as a couple. Upon checkout I made a complaint to the General Manager but I'm not sure if any steps were taken with the beach manager. As a solo female traveller, based on this experience alone, I wouldn't go back to this hotel."
