Private Cabin with Pond on Family Farm

With a large deck overlooking a pond and direct access to Braeutigam Orchards, this private cabin tucked away in the woods is a great place for a relaxing getaway. The farm has been owned and operated by the same family since 1831, with the sixth, seventh, and eighth generations currently living and working on the farm. While you are staying at the cabin, you can purchase seasonal fruits and vegetables and request a tour of the property. Come experience the charm of rural Southwestern Illinois! Located right off of Route 15. Only 10 minutes from Downtown Belleville and 30 minutes from Downtown St. Louis.

Stayed here with my adult siblings for our mom's 83rd birthday. The property is beautiful and well-maintained and Tom was very friendly and informative throughout our stay. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. We didn't see any deer (probably we were too loud and scared them all away), but my sister and I enjoyed hanging out with the farm cats (kittens!) during the day. You're just a short drive from town if you're looking to do more activities or check out holiday lights. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

In town for a soccer tournament and had 4 kids. Perfect place for us to rest and eat between events. Hosts were so gracious with our arrival time. Wonderful conversation with the farm owner. This was a wonderful place to stay, I only wish I had gotten to spend more time at the cabin (we had a busy weekend scheduled). It was cozy and clean and there was an orchard on the property with a bakery with delicious donuts.
