Follow in the footsteps of sporting and musical greats when you tour this vast sporting arena. Walk on the pitch, see dressing rooms and lift a trophy.

Watch national and international sporting events, see musical legends perform and go behind the scenes at the Principality Stadium. This is the national stadium of Wales, a 74,500-seat venue that is the home of the Welsh national rugby team.

Enjoy a guided tour of the sporting and musical arena. Walk through the Dragon's Lair, the name given to the dressing room of the national rugby team. Then head down the players' tunnel and onto the pitch with sound of pre-recorded crowd cheers ringing in your ears.

Look up at the massive roof, which was the first fully-retractable stadium roof in the United Kingdom. Go up to the President's Box to lift a trophy high in the air, just like winning sports captains do. The full guided tours last for approximately 60-75 minutes.

During match and event preparations, parts of the stadium are closed to visitors. At these times, 40-minute mini tours are available. These cover the workings of the stadium and visitors may even have the chance of seeing a team training session or a show rehearsal.

Book tickets for a rugby or soccer match. Among the other sporting activities hosted at the stadium are boxing and motorsports, including the British Speedway Grand Prix.

See some of the biggest musical acts in the world perform. The likes of Paul McCartney, U2, Rihanna and the Rolling Stones have delighted hundreds of thousands of concertgoers here. For details of forthcoming events and ticket prices, visit the stadium’s official website.

The stadium is a short walk from central Cardiff and the city’s main train station. There aren’t any dedicated parking facilities here, but metered parking options are available in the city center.

Tours of the Principality Stadium operate every day except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. Discounts on the tour prices are available for students, children aged between 5 and 16 years and seniors over 60 years of age. There is no charge for children under the age of 5.
