Handcrafted Hawaiian hardwood accents as well as bright & beachy décor to invite you to this beautiful North Shore, piece of paradise here in Princeville, Kauai. The condo rests atop a cliff that overlooks the largest barrier reef in the Hawaiian Island chain. Just minutes away from the historic Hanalei Bay. Enjoy some adventures or relax in your private oasis with a fully stocked home to meet almost all of your needs. We have to offer you: a Full size Washer and Dryer, all of your sleeping needs (blankets, sheets, pillows as well as a Pack 'n Play for young children to sleep). Towels for the bathroom, beach and pool. We offer WIFI, Cable & Roku for Netflix for all of your digital entertainment needs. Also, we have cards and board games for more traditional fun. For your outdoor needs, we have an umbrella, beach bag, coolers, snorkels, beach toys, some sporting equipment, as well as inflatable equipment for your stay. The kitchen is fully stocked including an Instant pot for last minute dinners. You have a full bedroom with a dresser, closet space, a Queen bed, a full bathroom, a pull out Queen couch bed, a twin window bed/nook, a lanai with a hammock, two chairs and table. At Sealodge we have plenty of close parking spaces, Community Charcoal Grills, outdoor pool with sitting area, Secret Sealodge beach as well as large grassy areas with benches overlooking the ocean. The neighborhood harbors some close entertainment. You're in walking distance to the Princeville Shopping Center as well as Prince Albert Park and Emmalani Courts (Basketball and Volleyball). Also within walking distance is the Makai Golf Courses. Within Sealodge there is the "secret beach" which is a small hike. Close by you have Queen's Bath as well as Princeville Ranch which has many day adventures. 5 minutes North you will be in Historic Hanalei Town with many restaurants, shops, beaches and the pier. 5-10 minutes South, you can access Anini beach which is known for great snorkeling and wildlife. Or continue down the road to Kilauea lighthouse. Continue heading North and Napali Coast trail is at "the end of the road". There you can experience the beautiful Ke'e beach, wet cave, dry cave and hiking trails. There is a walking path that goes along the Makai Golf course that you can take all the way to the Princeville Center (About 1.5 mile walk). The location was nice and condo is full of amenities and beautifully decorated. We were unable to truly enjoy the lani because the rain and wind didn't cooperate. The ocean front view was a highlight as we could even enjoy star gazing. Nothing against the property but we didn't know about the non-AC situation and during the day, could get a little warm inside.The ocean breeze definitely makes is nice at night with all the windows open. We appreciated all the beach amenities at our disposal as it made it convenient when we hit the beach and didn't have to rent chairs or umbrellas. ##### Jonathan C. It had a homey feel to it, lots of little touches that made it feel a bit like home. Super quiet, nice trail to the beach. Lots of beach things for kids. All amenities were provided and it was great to have a washer and dryer so we had clean clothes to take home. As a side note… the private beach is very nice, but be warned, the trail to it can be treacherous, especially after a couple of rainy days. Would certainly recommend this condo ##### Tony C. We had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful spot. We arrived after dark and the check in was easy . We fell asleep listening to the waves. When the morning came, we were awe-struck. The view is simply incredible. You will find it hard to leave the deck! We loved the adorable condo with so many cute touches to make it special. A comfortable bed, full kitchen and washer/dryer made the stay so easy. I highly recommend this place. We hope to return again in the future ##### Craig C. However, there are some areas needing improvement. The remodeling missed a few items such significant corrosion of window frames preventing some from opening and making the sliding door very difficult to open and close. There is no table inside for dining and the bar stools are too short for the bar. The kitchen furnishings are a hodgepodge.Most annoying was the noise and vibrations from the power tools used in the renovation of the unit below ours during the day. It cut short our use of the condo during the day. When I contacted the island property manager I was told they were not informed of this. The unit was decorated in a fun beach theme with seashells everywhere. The size of the unit and the small deck were perfect for 2 individuals.The unit could have been more comfortable by providing better furniture on the deck (there was a flimsy table and chairs that easily tipped if you sat on the edge), a table inside rather than just a breakfast bar for 2, better lighting in the living room for reading (we used one of the deck chairs and pulled it into the kitchen), blinds for the living room windows to keep out the heat of the sun, and the ability to open the living room windows (because there was a day bed in the living room, neither of the windows would open.)The unit was also noisy. We could hear the footsteps of our upstairs neighbors whenever they were home. We weren't told before we arrived that the unit next door was being renovated, and the pounding was pretty consistent throughout the work week from 9-5\.
