Good location for walking in downtown picton.
Relaxing stay behind a McDonald’s restaurant. Surprisingly quiet neighborhood. Friendly host.

Would definitely stay here again!
Great place to stay. Everything was expected, roomy, clean and very convenient to town and surrounding area. My only criticism would be that there was no written information on how some of the equipment operated (TV) and other do's and don'ts. We could have called but did not want to bother anyone. Most places we have stayed have a couple of sheets of useful information for us to follow - Just a suggestion for what it's worth.

Great County Homebase
We stayed here for three nights for an annual trip to PEC with our two boys, 9 and 7. Very comfortable. Very conveniently located. We were very happy with our stay.

Long weekend in Picton
The hosts are very helpful and friendly and do everything possible to make you feel comfortable. The unit is very close to all the downtown stores, restos, coffee shops and right beside a shopping mall if you forgot anything. We attended a movie at the beautifully restored Regent Theatre and it is worth a visit if you have a free night or a rainy day.

Our overall stay was great
The place was exactly as it was described , very comfortable and had all the necessities. The only thing we missed a little was the tv, which you can only use if you are streaming, which we don’t know how to do. Overall we will stay there again.

Lovely spot in the heart of Picton
Very clean and quiet accommodations. One-bedroom apartment was as advertised online, and had everything we needed. Kitchen was very well-equipped. Nice small deck out back. Great location, steps away from Main St. Communication with owner, Rene, was clear and informative. Thanks, Rene & Eileen, hope to return next year!

Wonderful
This was definitely one of our best, if not THE best, VRBO or other, experience we have had. Wonderful set up, well equipped kitchen, extremely responsive hosts (we were short a set of towels, we called, the towels were provided, with a smile, in minutes). Great location. The whole contributed to a wonderful weekend experience.

Good times in PEC
Drove on some lovely rural road surrounded by farms, fields and blue sky. Visited some artists studios and saw beautiful sunsets. Great relaxing week and will be back.

Great weekend getaway
Great location in Picton. Close to downtown, restaurants and other amenities. All check-in information sent beforehand was very clear and made for an easy arrival. Unit was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Good size for a couple although there is a pullout couch if needed. Met the owner Rene when we arrived. He was very friendly and accommodating and made sure we had his contact information if we needed anything. Gave recommendations on some places to visit. We had a great stay and loved exploring the County. Thanks Rene! We hope to come back and explore the area more some day.

Great location!
For a quick weekend getaway, this place was perfect. A very short walk to the shops in Picton, super responsive hosts, comfortable and clean. Loved the movie selection … though we spent a lot of time out, it was a nice way to kick back at the end of the evening with a glass of local wine!

This property is lovely. Clean, bright and well appointed. Location is excellent. However. We arrived in the dark and pouring rain and walked into an apartment that was 16 degrees. As we scurried around to turn on space heaters, we blew a fuse. Not a good start. That was resolved quickly, though. I then realized that there was no stove. The listing clearly said there was a stove. But instead there’s a one burner induction hot plate. We had no choice but to eat out every night. Not what we had planned. And the bed. The mattress is very soft and the fitted sheet did not fit at all, making it very lumpy. None of this would probably be important if you are planning just a night or two. But we booked for five nights and it sure made a difference to us.

First vacation with our NB
It was our fisrt vacation with our newborn and it went very well! The loft is near all accommodations (grocery store, restaurants, pharmacies, etc.) and it is quiet despite the proximity of the accommodations. The wineries and the beaches are accessible easily from the loft. We recommend this place for a small family.

We had a very enjoyable first experience in Prince Edward County! This Rental certainly helped tremendously! Everything is close by, place was clean, had everything we needed! Eileen was delightful! We’ll certainly be staying here again!

A real gem!
This quaint property is perfect for a couple or a group of four that plans to be outside most of the time. It is the cleanest property I have ever booked with VRBO. It is a great location for a Wine Tour weekend or a trip to Sandbanks. A Metro and Tim Hortons are within a 5 min walk, along with downtown Picton and the stores and restaurants there. The hosts live on the property and were so welcoming and friendly, but not at all intrusive. Really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to book this or the two bedroom listing they have.

This was a great place to use for a home base during our PEC get-away. Rene was very friendly and helpful in pointing out nice wineries and restaurants, the location was great and the suite had everything we needed.

-Owners very nice, enjoyed talking with them. -Accommodations nice with everything you need and nice touches like original art work and plants -Location just around the corner to main street, can walk to many stores and restaurants and others easy drive to nearby towns/villages. We were limited due to COVID restrictions but we still managed to enjoy food and local beers. Would have been nice to find patio for breakfast and live music. -Picton and area beautiful and easy to navigate. -Sandbanks Park beautiful. Suggest looking at other area beaches as well at peak season or going during week like we did and checking for permits and parking ahead of time. -Wish we had more time to shop in antique shops

Great little apartment, just the right size for 3 people. Easy access, nice little back deck, large kitchen area and living space. The hosts were ready to answer any questions. Very clean. There's everything you need to prepare a small easy meal (hot plate, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and freezer). Could use a couple of sharp kitchen knives and one extra blanket, but otherwise well stocked. I'm sure the hosts would have brought one over had we asked - they were very responsive and attentive. The mattress was a little unusual (felt either like an air mattress or a water bed?) but we slept very well.

Great Mini-Break
We rented this 1 bedroom apartment in Picton for 3 nights in October. The location is excellent - easy to walk into town, close to a brew pub and grocery stores but accessible to the roads you need to get out and explore the rest of Prince Edward County. Rene and Eileen had everything well set up and we appreciated their extra effort with Covid precautions.

Perfect choice for a couple staying in Picton
Rene and Eileen have built a lovely ground floor apartment Unit. Fully independent from their house, clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated. The view on the lovey garden adds to the nice feeling you get when first coming in. The AC in the bedroom was perfect for the unit size despites the heat wave. Rene and Eileen are very welcoming without intruding on their guests. It is clear that they care about the quality of the service they provide and want their guest to enjoy their stay. The unit is quiet even though it is a couple blocks away from "core" Picton and the drive to Sand Banks is quick and enjoyable.

Amazing little gem in picton
Had a great stay while in Picton. The place was clean and comfortable. Our hosts were super pleasant. Centrally located to main street and close by to pretty much everything. They had a t.v, no cable which was ok as they provide a plethora of movies. Overall, awesome stay...would stay there again. Rene and Eileen were very kind. I highly recommend.

Perfect place to stay!
Perfect place to stay nearby everything (grocery, restaurants, shopping). Sandbanks is only 15 min by car. Welcoming hosts very helpful and kind. The apartment is super clean, well decorated and really well equipped. The only negative thing to say is that the mattress in the room should be changed as it is too soft. Other than that everything was perfect. Thanks Rene & Eileen!

A home away from home
My daughter and I have made this our summer tradition. Its simply perfect in every way! Eileen & Rene are wonderful at making sure that everything you might need is available : I kid you not! We leave home fully packed as, I do cook during our stay with a restaurant thrown in here and there. This trip, I had forgotten olive oil. I opened the cupboard and voilà! There it was and good one too! Coffee, butter, jams and so forth. The back yard is wonderful for children to explore and play while adultes dive into a good book, sip on coffee or wine! I get that me time i so very much need, simply by having that backyard factor. If honest, I'm reluctant to share my feedback as we would like to keep this gem to ourselves 😄 Seriously, it's a great little home at the heart of P.E.C. we will be back!

Bel endroit, bien situé!
