This booking includes exclusive use of both Kaliva cabins, Alpha and Beta, for your group of up to four guests. Both cabins, all three patios, and the designated parking areas are yours. The Core, the gear-storage area beneath the lower building, and the adventure equipment are shared only within your booked group.

Unlike a traditional vacation rental, Kaliva consists of two architecturally distinct cabins—Alpha and Beta—creating a private compound designed for both connection and privacy. Together, the cabins comfortably accommodate up to four guests while providing separate sleeping quarters, bathrooms, outdoor living areas, and gathering spaces.



Spend your days hiking nearby trails, paddling at Watson Lake, exploring historic Whiskey Row, browsing local galleries and shops, or cruising through town on our shared e-bikes. Then return to a peaceful retreat where warm architectural lighting, natural materials, and thoughtfully designed interiors invite you to slow down, reconnect, and recharge.



Inspired by Greece, Rooted in Prescott. We call this project Kaliva (καλύβα), a Greek word meaning "countryside shelter" or humble retreat.



The name reflects our personal story. My husband is Greek, and we met many years ago in Athens. Over time, we came to love the rugged beauty, slower pace, and quiet charm of Prescott's high desert. Kaliva represents the blending of two places we hold dear: the timeless simplicity of the Greek islands and the natural beauty of northern Arizona.



Designed and furnished by the owner, an interior designer, Kaliva draws inspiration from the architecture of the Greek Cyclades and the simplicity of Scandinavian design. Natural concrete floors, custom Baltic birch millwork, handcrafted tadelakt plaster, warm architectural lighting, and carefully curated furnishings create spaces that feel both modern and deeply relaxing. Every detail was chosen to create an environment that encourages rest, creativity, connection, and a sense of place.

Alpha – The Studio Retreat:



Alpha is an intimate studio retreat designed for simplicity, comfort, and relaxation. Features include:
