We call this project Kaliva (καλύβα)—a Greek word meaning “countryside shelter” or humble retreat. It reflects our personal story: my husband is Greek, and we met many years ago in Athens. Over time, we’ve come to love the beauty and tranquility of Prescott’s high desert, and Kaliva represents the merging of these two places we hold dear. A Quiet Retreat - Kaliva is intended for rest and relaxation: • No parties, events, or unregistered guests • Quiet hours are 9 PM–7 AM • Minimum rental age is 25 • No smoking anywhere on the property Respect for Furnishings & Surfaces: \- Interior furnishings and artwork must remain in place. Patio furniture may be moved gently but should never be dragged across concrete. \- Our custom wood paneling and artisan plaster finishes are durable but sensitive to chemicals, abrasives, and staining materials.
